The Unnatural
-Wow. This episode is easily one of my all time favorites. There was very little Mulder and SCully involved at all but the parts that did have them were priceless. An involving plot that finnaly gave us a look at a 'nice' alien, too bad he had to die.
-As much as Scully complained about sitting in their basement office looking for anomilies I think she wanted to be there. She didn't have to stay there, she could of gone outside and played, where exactly in her job discription does it say; you must come in on Saturdays and steal government property?
-Non fat tofutti rice dreamsicle, dosen't that just take all the fun out of icecream?
-So the wonderful drunk Arthur Dales we met in "Agua Mala" has a brother, sister and goldfish all named Arthur Dales. Must have been confusing when the mail came.
-So Arthur Dales and um.. Arthur Dales stay up nights talking about how much of a loser Mulder is. Who exactly is the loser in this situation?
-Gee! Mulder has been going about this all wrong! Searching for evidence looking for the truth. When all he had to do was sit down and watch some baseball. Then the baseball gods would just tell him everything he wanted to know! Man he probably feels stupid.
-Why is it that reflections always show the truth? Why was the glass of the team bus able to figure out that Ex was an alien? Something about his shapeshifting that dosen't work on glass? I'm sure there's a scientific explanation for this.
-I bet Ex always stands at the end of the tobacco line up. Everyone else took a piece with their fingers, Ex just ripped a piece of with his teeth. Looks like the manly baseball players have a fear of germs.
-Why did the ball players ask Ex where he was from after he got hit in the head? It was obvious none of them knew the answer.
-When Dales goes through his pants for his knife to open the door why exactly did he not bother to put them on?
-Ex says that his family's philosophy is that they leave us alone and we leave them alone. So under which catergory does colonizing earth and infecting us all with the black oil fall under?
-I feel bad for Moose. That guy was the worst pitcher I've ever seen. You've got to wonder why he just dosen't change positions.
-I love the last scene between Mulder and Scully. It beutifully shows how close they've become over the years and how great they are together.
-Best Line: We've got a tie!
"Hello, Mr. Bat. It's a pleasure
to make your acquaintance." "Oh, no, no, Ms. Scully. The pleasure's
all mine." and
"Shut up, Mulder. I'm playing baseball."
Rating:9 1/2 Scully and Mulder hit baseballs out of 10
