A. Some folks collect Animaniacs comic books or Animaniacs t-shirts... I collect Animaniacs plushies! Why? Beacause I LOVE plushies and to me, there are no none better than those modeled after my all-time favorite cartoon characters in Animaniacs, Yakko, Wakko and Dot! When I say plushie, I am actually referring to all of the Warner stuffed toys that are out there which also includes beanies, hand puppets, plush slippers, and character head pillows as well.
A. Many people collect the Warner plushies for quantity. My goal is variety. I want as many differnt kinds and sizes of Warner plushies that are out there, not just see how many large Dakin Wakkos I can find. I started this page as a checklist, not only for myself, but for those who may want to help my collection grow, and to introduce other prospective Warner plushie collectors to all the different kinds that are out there.
Most important to me are the Wakko plushies because he is my favorite (but I certainly won't complain when I get Yakkos and Dots!). About two years ago I made a goal to get every different kind of Wakko plushie there was. Unfortunately at the time, I thought that there were only five different ones. Since then, I have accquired many more different Wakkos and I am constantly discovering new ones.
A. I can't be entirely sure since I am always discovering new ones, but the AWPL, to date, lists 62 completely different kinds of Animaniacs Warner plush.

A. I have the plushies, first and foremost, organized by the company which made them, along with their town of origin. The major companies are Dakin and Play-By-Play (Ace, having been bought out by the latter). Dakin, in my opinion, is the best quality Warner plushie maker and therefore listed first. The others follow according to importance. I have the rows color coded by character, Yakko (tan), Wakko (blue), or Dot (pink) for easier browsing and each type of plushie is organized into collumns that describes each as thoroughly as I possibly can.. The collumns are as follows:
- Size - Decribes approximately the size of the plushie.
- Type - Decribes what size the plushie is or what kind of plushie it is (beanie, hand puppet, etc...).
- Name - Yakko, Wakko, or Dot.
- Material - The primary substances that the shell (skin) and stuffing are made of.
- Year - The release date of the plushie.
- Tag/Item # - If the plushie has one.
- Characteristics - A short description of what makes this type of Warner plushie stand out from the others.
- Own? - Do I or do I not own this perticular type of plushie? For those who want to know what plushies I still need or if there are any questions about a perticular plushie, I would be more able to answer those for the ones that I have.
A. I stand the plushie up and press its feet flat on the ground, as if it were really standing. Then I measure from the feet to the top of the head. The ears don't count!
A. Sure! I've created a printer-friendly list of the Animaniacs Warner Plushie List right here! I try to keep that list as updated as the info on the site itself.
A. The pictures on the following pages that are not mine have been gathered from various places on the net. If you see a picture that belongs to you, please do not be offended, rather hopefully feel honored. The AWPL was created as a informative service for people to learn about all the Animaniacs Warner plushies that exist. Without pictures, people would not be able to appreciate the vast plushie varieties. If you still really don't care and just want to be a meanie by not letting the world enjoy your plushies than email me and I will be forced to remove your pictures.
