The king ended up bringing Fong Zhe to the Panther Room (where the secret chamber was and where he was trapped by Wong Ye). He made Fong Zhe one of his concubines / lesser wives. He did not tell the queen about it because he was afraid of her. Fong Zhe got tired of waiting there for him and told Chok Zhi San to take her to see him.
She dressed up as a eunuch and hid in his study room. Then the king was chasing her around & they were laughing. The queen passed by and heard them laughing. She came in and saw that he was not working but fooling around with another woman. Fong Zhe came up to the queen and said that she?s very beautiful and they will be good sisters. The queen slapped her and yelled at the queen.
Then Fong Zhe left and got mad at the king. The king in order to prove his love to her, went and light the Panther Room. This is a signal for the entire army to come to the capital and fight. When the people / commoners saw that the light, they assumed that there would be a battle so they all tried to escape and a lot of people ended up hurt and injured. When the generals of the armies came, the king told them that he lit the Panther room to prove his love for Fong Zhe. Fong Zhe was extremely happy and walked away with the king. Then they had sex and the king told her that he would make her his wife.
The general and the officials waited on their knees the entire night for the king. They would not stand up. They expressed their discontent with what the king did. Because of a woman, he lit the Panther Room, caused the armies to rush to the capital, destroying property as they passed by; and caused the people to be injured because they thought that the capital was in danger. The king promised that he won't do it again & announced that he wants to bring Fong Zhe to the palace. Everybody was against it, Chow Man Bun wanted to help the king and get rid of the tension by telling him to ask the queen because she's in charge of the back palace (all his wives).
The king went to ask the queen and at first she said that "you can do whatever you want, I don't care." The queen did not know that the king was talking about Fong Zhe. When he said that he would bring Fong Zhe to the palace, the queen was against it. She said that he was very inconsiderate, she has feelings and jealousies too. He promised her that he would treat her better and be a better king and now because of a woman, he lit the Panther Room and caused chaos and havoc. The queen said that if he brings her in, then she will kill herself.
Then the king left and Chow Man Bun said that he can marry Fong Zhe but not now because everybody is against it & there was a rebellion by Wong Ye not long ago, he advised him to just let everything settle in first.
Chow Man Bun and Mun Ching Min went to Fong Zhe. Mun Ching Min told her to give up but Chow Man Bun told her to wait. She decided to wait there for the king.
Meanwhile, Chok Zhi San is preparing for his wedding. It doesn't look like he's really looking forward to the marriage. And Tang Bat Fu is still depressed and drunk. When the wedding presents came, he spouted up poetry to every gift that involves a pair / love. Then he saw a plate with pictures of foreign girls and said that she is Chow H. They took the plate and gifts away from him and didn?t let him drink anymore.
Episode 47 - 48
Chok Zhi San did not want to marry but he had to because the king told him to and he wanted the money. On the night of his wedding, he got his wife drunk because he did not want to sleep with her. Zhu Keen wanted revenge against the king because he made him kill his unborn son & he didn't like the 4 guys. So when Chok Zhi San took a walk outside on the night of his wedding, he met Fong Zhe and they started to drink.
Zhu Keen made it seem as if they slept together. And he kidnapped Fong Zhe and made her write a letter stating that she did something wrong. The king found a scholar's fan in her room and knew that it was one of the four guys but Chow Mun Bun was away so it wasn't him. Tang Bat Fu admitted it because he wanted to die and be with Chow H in death.
