Jian Pin was kneeling in front of Gong Gong. He asked Jian Pin if she wants to change her mind before it is too late. Jian Pin said she will chance it and rolled over the bed of nails. She pretended to faint and die. Gong Gong laughed and said that the punishment for bringing a charge against him is death. Then Jian Pin stood up and said that he has to try better next time. Gong Gong was shocked and Jian Pin told him that the poison in the nails did not kill her because she learned a kung-fu where the sun heals her. Then Gong Gong ordered the guards to chase after her and he started to chase after her. Then he tried to attack her with his sword and she threw ink at him and he covered his eyes with the sword. His face and sword was all black except for his eyes.
Then the 2nd prince came to take charge of the case. He said that he was an undercover agent of the king and asked Gong Gong about the 3 star keys. Then the 2nd prince called Mo Gay and he testified that there was a hidden chamber where Gong Gong prayed to Che Wong Ye (the traitor). Then Gong Gong panicked and kidnapped the prince.
The 2nd prince woke up in the bed and Gong Gong bowed to him and said that he would help him become king. The 2nd prince said that is not possible because in the history of the empire, only the eldest prince becomes the next king. Gong Gong said that he is the eldest son because he is the only son of Che Wong Ye. Gong Gong asked him to compare himself to the king, he is not like the king but he is handsome like his father. The 2nd prince said that even though that is the truth, he cannot be the king because Che Wong Ye is a traitor, not the legitimate heir of the throne. Gong Gong said that the current king is not a good king, he is lazy and doesn't care about the people.
Shui Lua Han was still injured and walking by himself. The Dong Yuen (Japanese) killers came and attacked him, then they disappeared. Bai Siao Xi came and told him to tell her where his godfather is so that he won't kill him. Shui Lua Han said he won't betray his godfather. Then their master came and asked him to tell him where his godfather is and that he hates beating people up but if he has to, then he will. Bai Saio Xi said no because he's hurt and he's going to die. So their master decided to punish him by trying to drown him because it would be torture to face death over and over again.
Their master dragged Shui Lua Han out and tried to drown him in the barrel. Then Shui Lua Han started to have flashbacks of fire, blood splashing and soldiers chasing him. Then the master pulled him out and tried to drown him again. This time he had flashbacks of his mother combing her hair and his father playing with him. Then he saw the soldiers came, killed the townspeople, and chased him. The soldiers chased him and he ran into a house. Then they threw fire and burned the house. He hid in a barrel of water and then a wood beam fell down on him and he fainted. Then the master pulled him out of the barrel and he fainted.
Meanwhile, Gong Gong told the 2nd prince to go and ask his mother if he doesn't believe him. The 2nd prince said that even though it is true, he would not want to be the king. He doesn't like to be royalty and because of royalty, he cannot have the woman that he loves. He said that it doesn't matter if he is going to be the king or not because Jian Pin prefers the commoner over royalty. The 2nd prince said that he wants to be free, to go wherever he wants to. He doesn't want to be confine in the palace, it is like jail but only with better food and more space. Gong Gong said that it is not too bad because a lot of people never leave their homes and that real happiness is being with the ones that you love. For instance, he had a wonderful relationship with Che Wong Ye and the 2nd prince's mother. The three of them grew up together, he was Che Wong Ye's bodyguard but they were like brothers. The 2nd prince's mother was forced to marry the king and Che Wong Ye did those things because he wants her back. Then Gong Gong said he have 2 star keys but didn't know where the 3rd star key is. And that Che Wong Ye told him the riddle that once the 2 star keys show up, then the real king would be revealed. Gong Gong speculated that it has something to do with the birth of the 2nd prince, that's why he gave Shui Lua Han the same birthday as the prince.
Afterwards, Bai Siao Xi escaped with Shui Lua Han. Shui Lua Han had a nightmare and he was crying and calling for his mother. Shui Lua Han woke up and Bai Siao Xi said that she never heard him call for his mother before in his previous dreams. Then Shui Lua Han ran away and the master froze Bai Saio Xi and followed him.
