Shia Lua Han and the 2nd prince was trying to catch up to Jian Pin. Then his internal injury started to act up. He told the 2nd prince to go without him. Then the 2nd prince started to tell him about his pain. He said that he hates Shia Lua Han but Shia Lua Han said that he doesn't hate the 2nd prince. The 2nd prince said that is because winners never hate the losers. The 2nd prince envied Shia Lua Han because he got Jian Pin's undying love. He is jealous because Jian Pin doesn't love him and he blames it on the fact that he is royalty. Then the 2nd prince said that it is so unfair, since god made him, why did he make Shia Lua Han. The 2nd prince said that he's hurting inside and he wants to die because he's really in love with her and she doesn't love him, and that he's willing to give up being a prince, to go over mountains and under sea, and give up his principles, and be doomed to go to hell. And he asked Shia Lua Han what he was willing to do for her.
Then the 2nd prince was standing alone with Jian Pin. He told her that Shia Lua Han's internal injury is very serious and he might die any day. But Jian Pin said that even if they marry for only 1 day, she'll be happy. Then the 2nd prince asked her if she would marry him in exchange for curing Shia Lua Han. He said the palace have plenty of good doctors and medicine and there is a great chance of saving him. She said that if it means saving Shia Lua Han, she would marry him but they would be like husband and wife to the public but she can never stop thinking about Shia Lua Han. Then the 2nd prince asked her if she likes him. She said yes, how could she not like someone who deeply cares for her. He said he meant love, not like. She did not answer him. Then the 2nd prince asked her if she knew that he was the 2nd prince, would she run away from the marriage? She said no, if she knew that he was the 2nd prince, she would have a talk with him and tell him that she is not fit to be the wife of a prince because she loves to be free. And the 2nd prince said that's what he likes about her because he wants to live a carefree life, free from the rules of the palace. Then Jian Pin said that she would have said yes. The 2nd prince started laughing and said that it was all his fault. If he talked to her and told her the truth, Shia Lua Han would not have the chance to win her heart. Then he grabbed her and try to kiss her. She pushed him away and he said that he's hurting inside and he wants to die by her hands. Then the 2nd prince left and said that he'll try to get the medicine to save Shia Lua Han. Jian Pin was standing there and she was crying because she did not want to see her friend suffer.
Mo Ma was drinking at the bridge. Then Dai Lang came. He asked her why she followed him. She said that she thought about it carefully and knew that it was all a plan. Mo Ma said that no, it's the truth, he is a liar, he cheated Jian Pin for 18 years and try to steal the key.
Bai Siao Xi said that they spent all their time chasing after Shia Lua Han and Jian Pin, that they let Gong Gong get back on his feet. Her master said that they need to get the book and if Mo Ma came back, then it is going to tremendously help them. He said that he's worry about her because Shia Lua Han is getting in the way and maybe he needs to die so that Bai Siao Xi would stay loyal.
Gong Gong and the 2nd prince was examining the key. When they heard that Jian Pin's father was out there, Gong Gong went to hide and told the 2nd prince not to let him know about their close relationship. Jian Pin's father told the 2nd prince that he really wanted to have him as a son-in-law but Shia Lua Han and Jian Pin's actions are embarrassing and she doesn't deserve him. The 2nd prince said that he trust that nothing went on between Jian Pin and Shia Lua Han. Then Jian Pin's father asked the prince for a favor. He said that if he cannot make it with the prince to the king's tomb, then let Jian Pin go because he told her about the traps in the tomb. The 2nd prince asked him why and he said that he's getting old and might die.
