Flashback to the past: He was on his 1st mission as a killer and Cho Gong Gong was with him. Shia Lua Han fought and defeated the grave thief, Lin Jia Li. Cho Gong Gong was after the grave thief because he wanted the star key. Shia Lua Han did not kill the grave thief but Cho Gong Gong did. Cho Gong Gong searched the dead body and found the jade and gave it to Shia Lua Han for good luck.
Jian Pin is extremely happy because she's engaged to the man that she loves. Shia Lua Han is also very happy because he also loves her but at the same time, unhappy because he is only a phony fiancee.
Since Bai Siao Xi is still obsessed with Shia Lua Han, she planned to ruin their relationship. She sets up her plan and everybody believe that she and Shia Lua Han were lovers and that she was pregnant with his child but she miscarried. To be more convincing, she slit her wrist to commit suicide.
Now the 2nd prince, Siao Long, and Mo Ma believed her. Jian Pin did not know about it yet but she finds out and was extremely upset. Shia Lua Han chased after her and asked her to believe him but she doesn't because it would mean that Bai Siao Xi lied about the relationship and it doesn't seem possible because she tried to commit suicide & she also saved Jian Pin's life at Shaolin Temple (but she does not know that it was Shia Lua Han who pushed Bai Siao Xi in front of Jian Pin so that Jian Pin would not be injured).
Shia Lua Han cannot tell her the truth about Bai Siao Xi's true identity because it would mean revealing his true identity as a killer. He said that if she finds out the truth, she would probably hate him even more (because he stole the key from her father & he is a killer & he's on a mission to steal the other star key).
Jian Pin walks away from him and it starts raining. She cries her heart out and fainted. The 2nd prince came and carried her home. Siao Long and Mo Ma found Siao Fok and took him back so that he can cure her (she has a fever and does not wish to live).
Shia Lua Han heard that she has a heartache and doesn't want to live. Bai Siao Xi came and he told her that he really hates her because she is always trying to hurt Jian Pin. Bai Siao Xi wants him to come back to him after Jian Pin dies but he said that he will never do it, he hates her to the bone. She said that she doesn't care if he hates her because that means that he still thinks of her and she is still in his mind.
