1813 - Built  for the Powell Family in the Regency style who also owned the Green and maintained it for the village

1863 - ‘All Saints Church’ erected to the left of the house

1903 - Miss Mary Watson died (an Aunt of the Powells who was living in the house)

1904 - Money left by Miss Mary Watson used to build a village hall (Watson Hall)

1908 - Lord Trayner’s wife Francis died (22.06.1908)

1909 - Lord Trayner lived in Langton House, Langton Green, Tunbridge Wells: Who's Who

1918 - Lord Trayner moved back to Edinburgh from the South England to live with Isobel and Edward Salvesen

1918 - Langton House sold to

19?? - sold to current owner by

Large white building of the Regency period.  Was built fifty Years before the church was built in 1863.  Was to be the new Dower House for the Manor – to replace the Old Dower House (Manor Cottage) that dates from the 15th century.
