| I was born in Ilasco, Missouri on April 11, 1930. I attended the first 4 and one half years of school at Ilasco. We moved to the Mills Creek area in 1941 and I went to Mills Creek schools through the ninth grade. Among my classmated were Beverly Brinkmeier (Orth) James Denkler, Mary Schneider Norman, Bill Riney and Jack Smith. We all had a wonderful time. I married Ray Moore in September of 1948. He was a farmer and we still live on the farm, but in a different house. Ray is supposed to be retired now, but still keeps pretty busy. We both enjoy fishing (we raise our own) and put on frequent fish fries for our family and friends.
Our favorite getaway spot is Branson, Missouri where we go two or three times a year. We alsoi enjoy a bus tour to here and there every so often. We have gone to the Hilton Head Island area this year. Our last trip was to Door County in Wisconsin in July, 2001.
We have three children, eight grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
