Since I am lucky to have a nice slotconvertor with lots of jumpers on it to select voltage on it, I did not have to do any vss vid25 connection or whatsoever :) If u think you need to do this read another how to !! (links will follow)
Most of the forums I read people were told to make a connection between pin AK4 and AK26 if they're modded system would not boout or was instable. Some ppl even say it might give ur better OC speeds. I did not make this connection 'cause I didn't experience any difficulties :)
After I did this I put the cpu back on the slotconvertor and jumpered the converter to 1,5V The proc wants 1,475 officially
I just turned on power and it posted as a PIII 1.33 GHz whoohoo :) after it posted I tried to put the fsb to 133 MHz 'cause that's what i bought it 4 ;) This was no problem either it just booted en started my Windows me without probs
After I booted, I installed WCPUID here is the screenie :)
Well after a few rounds counterstrike to test reliablitiy (really) I installed Sisoft Sandra to do some benchmarks, Here are some pics
Cpu Arithmetic Benchmark
Cpu Multi-Media Benchmark
After these benches I was even more happy with my new cpu :) As suspected The memory bench marks we're not that impressive
Memory Bandwidth Benchmark
Well that's pretty much all I have to tell u 'bout it it. I've been playing with it for a couple of hours now and
not a single hang-up or whatsoever. I think I'm pretty happy with this CPU and Considering I only paid 100 euro to get it I must say: 1 hell of an upgrade Big bang for ur buck ;)
Now I can find a new purpose for my old cell2 533a@800 :)
notice: I did not invent this MOD or summin, I just did what other real smart ppl figured out.Check these links to find 'em.
