The Girls@Play begins, like Team EV, almost right at the beginning of the TWF. The very first TWF Women's Champion, Atomically Cool Cat and her friend, Chumpozina formed an alliance against the formidable and fiesty Team EV girls back in mid-2000.
The girls were doing rather fine on their own, until the arrival of BCW on the scene in October 2000. The arrival, more importantly of 'The BoyZ' saw a new TWF Female - Falcon. The girlfriend of Hawke was not just a pretty face, decimating her opponents in every way.
It was looking increasingly likely that the 2 biggest females in the TWF would collide...and they did so at TWF PayBack a year later. Chumpozina mind you was keeping herself quiet as her friend made work of Falcon and retained her Women's Title.
In May 2002, the un-thinkable occured. Falcon, reeling from being 'dumped' by Hawke, was asked to referee a match between AKK and Rachael of BCW. Falcon was being beaten down by Rachael's friends Lisa and Natalie when Kool Kat's cousin Libra made her way down to the ring and evened up the score!
This gave us a 6-Women Tag-Team Match at Against All Odds. Atomically Kool Kat, Libra & Chumpozina vs. Rachael, Lisa & Natalie w. / Hawke himself. During the match, Falcon turned on her new friends and cost Kool Kat her title and Rachael picked up the championship!
This angered TWF fans, but at the American Zero Tolerance PPV, Libra got her chance and took it, beating Rachael herself to win the championship.
She, however, didn't hold the title for very long for at Total Chaos, she was eliminated in a Battle Royal which saw AKK win back her gold. The women's division looks like it will never change at this rate.
