When the Xtreme Wrestling Alliance was founded, both the TWF and XCW (the only members at the time) decided to have a championship belt, with the champion defending on both federation's events, like the old NWA championship of the 60s, 70s, 80s and early 90s. NJS defeated The Shott at TWF-xWa Deadly MindGames to become the first champion. |

When the TWF returned from it's hiatus, it acknowledged that it would stand alone as fellow xWa members XCW, RWF, XWF, WEW and FWF had all folded. Therefore, the TWF decided that the xWa Championship had served it's purpose and was to be retired, leaving Silver the honour of being the last ever xWa Champion. |
