The barding is purely for appearance!
These are my Numidian light horse. I have created a standard bearer with a standard along the lines of the Carthaginians.
There is, as far as I can find no evidence for Numidian standards but I think it adds a focal point to the unit.
Figures are by Foundry, except the leader who is from 1st Corps.
