While the majority of our ancestors were either laborers or farm workers, a handful held other jobs. Here are the known occupations of some of our ancestors.

Clowns/Entertainers
The Toledano family produced a number of entertainers. Brothers Moses and Abraham
Toledano used the names Mac and Alec Daniels and worked as clowns, their brother
Joseph was a preformer, composer, arranger and teacher of the banjo, mandolin
and guitar. For more information on this family, I would suggest a visit to
James Bohun's page.
Stonemason:
A number of members of the Mannell family were stonemasons. John Mannell took
his family from Lanivet in Cornwall and moved to St Heliers on Jersey in the
Channel Islands for a number of years while a harbour was built there. The family
returned to Cornwall for a number of years, before coming to Australia.
