Romeo and Juliet met one night and decided to get married the next day because they felt they had fallin in love. Juliet was arranged to be married to a County Paris. This is where the real story of Romeo and Juliet takes place.
Lord Capulet, Juliets father, told Juliet she will marry Paris or he will have nothing to do with her. Juliets mother wants no part in this arrangement.
The Nurse in this story also plays a great role. The Nurse is the only one who knows about Romeo and Juliets marrage in either one of the families. She actually is the one who helped Juliet secretly marry him. The Nurse now says that Juliet should listen to her father and marry Paris. She feels he is a better man and she might not see Romeo anymore.
Juliet is furious at the Nurse and will not give in. She goes to Friar Lawrence for help. She is to take a potion that will make her go into a coma. Her family thinks she is dead. Romeo thinks this also and drinks a potion that will kill himself. Romeo kills himself beside Romeo. When Juliet wakes up she finds her love dead so she decides to take his dagger into her chest.
