Timpanogos Cave National Monument

The map of the Timpanogos trail up to the cave. We started a 5636 feet and took a 1.5 mile paved trail up the side of a very steep mountain to the cave at 6730 feet.

A view of the trail. It was pretty dangerous as there was nothing to protect you from going over the edge, which as you can see, was quite steep.

As I said above, it was quite steep...about a 45 foot straight drop right there.

A look down the side into the valley, don't slip.

The entrance to the cave

Inside the cave looking at some cave formations. It was about 45 degrees in there.

A Stalagmite or whatever they're called

A small cave lake

When we went in the cave it was warm and sunny, when we came out 45 minutes later the clouds lowered and it was cool and raining.

Chillin'
