"Here we have the mating flight records." Says Adelia pointing at a book. "Every so often a female dragon will blood her kill instead of eating it. When this happens she is ready for her mating flight. She will fly up into the sky and the males that want to try and catch her will chase her. The male dragons chase after her in the sky until either they grow too tired to continue, or one of them catches the female. This is a record of all of the mating flights that could be happening soon, if you'll take a look. If you feel like your male dragon is up to chasing one of the females, or if you think your female dragon will be rising soon, you can come here and put it on the record, and maybe your dragons will be able to have a clutch!"
How this works is, if you impress a female dragon,
once she becomes an adult she will be able to rise. If you want her to
rise just fill out the Flight form below and I will put her on the
chart. If you have a male dragon, and he is adult and you want him
to chase a female dragon then fill out the Flight form below telling
me which female you want to chase and I will put it on the chart below
under males. Your male dragon can only participate in one flight at a time,
and once a clutch is laid you may not chase again until that clutch is
hatched. When a female has three possible chasers, the flight will begin.
I will tell the owner of the female to pick a number one through twenty.
I will then tell the owners of the male dragons to pick a number one through
twenty, and whoever guesses the closest wins. Easy enough? And yes, if
you have more than one dragon, your male dragon can chase your female
dragon, and with my number system he would be sure to win, unless you don't
want him to. =)
Also, here at the Twin Weyr, Valley and Dragon
Fang dragons may have flights together. The type of clutch will depend
on what the Female that got flown was. If she was a Valley Dragon than
the clutch would be laid on the Valley Weyr Sands and all the eggs would
be Valley Weyr Eggs, If she was a Dragon Fang dragon than the clutch would
be laid on the Dragon Fang Sands, and all the eggs would be Dragon Fang
eggs.
Please note that because of the dragon's size as is listed
on the pernese faq page and is true on Pern, Only Bronzes and Browns may
attempt to fly a Gold, and usually only browns and blues will try to fly
a green, but if a bronze wants to fly a green, there's no reason why he
couldn't.

Females may write there Flight Story if wished. There will be a link to the story in the record room and in the sands after her clutch is laid. You will have 3 days after your dragon rises to finish the story. If I do not get the Female Story Form in within three days after your dragon has risen she will not have a flight story. You do not have to have a story, to have your female rise. If you decide to have a story.
Female Story Form
You will recieve 2 e-mails after you send in the form, 1st one asking
you to pick a number 1-20, and the other one will tell you who has caught
your dragon and telling you have 4 more days to finish your flight
story. When you are done with the story feel out this form below and send
it in. Your dragon will than wait until it is time for her to lay her clutch
on the sands.
