Hello there!  So you want to know about Morse's Twirl Flags Team?  Well you came to the right place.  First of all, Twirl Flags is our *special* name, which we are known as to other squads.  Twirl Flags is one of the many names for the division we compete in which is in most part either Pep Flags or Short Flags.  Now, about Twirl Flags....We are a group of 6 loving girls who came together to do what we found so amazing, super, cool, but most of all FuN...and that is to twirl!!!  This year's team consists of 6 twirl girls, who are Nadine, Frida, Rachel, Sheila, Sarah, and Maechelle.  We came to this team not only to twirl some flags, but to show our school, families, friends, and most of all, ourselves that we are dedicated to being the best we can be.  We did not come to this team just to flaunt the name with our warm-ups & gears, besides we practice and work hard enough that that reason is not worth the trouble and time we have been through.  Secondly, twirling is not as easy as it looks to some of you.  You don't know how it is like until you have tried it.  There is a lot of technique into it.  When and if you do try out, it may seem hard as it was to every single one of us on the team, but as you get use to it, it gets easier and easier until finally, perhaps, you are on the team, but that doesn't mean once your on the team, everything is all easy for you.  Being on Twirl Flags, is very time consuming as most of you already know.  We practice every now and then as most of you have seen. Practice can only make us better, not make us worse. Even though we practice a lot, we still have times where we goof around and just chill.  But even so, we did not come on this team to waste our money and our parents money just to relax and chill.  We are not hardcore, yet, we are not laidback; we are in some point in between where we balance everything out.  Being a member of Twirl Flags is quite different than being an ordinary student.  As twirl girls, we are expected to maintain our grades or else, we are benched, meaning that we cannot perform until we improve our grades and at the same time, we still have to go to all practices.  School is in priority of the team.  Since we do represent the school, we are expected to give the best impression of our school, and show our spirit and support to the rest of the teams.  Twirl Flags is part of Morse's Auxiliary Teams.  Auxiliary consists of Drill Team, and Letterettes.  Auxiliary will hopefully expand next year with the addition of our first ever All-Male Dance Team.  Once again, being a twirl girl is time consuming, and so, a lot of our time is spent with the team especially during competition season.  Although much of time is taken up, we still have times to spend with our families and buddies.  Well, there you go!!  Hopefully we've answered all the questions you might of had!.
