Strangers in the starry night
Dancing under the pure black blanket
Slowly, ever so slowly
The wind sweeps around their close figures;
Swirling around her skirt
Stirring his coat
The cold wind chills the pale white figures;
Against the black night;
As the lights turn on and flicker
And the couple dances
Looking into each others eyes.
The rain falls on to the figure
And the bond breaks
As the wind picks up
They are blown apart
Severed evermore.
