Friday, 3/14/03 - "Waaaaaiting for the worms"
I had 2 lucid dreams last night.
I was lying in bed attempting sleep and suddenly I hear music. I turn to look at my cd player but it isn't on,
so I glance at my computer. It was on but next to it was a TV. I tell myself that I don't have a TV, so I must
be dreaming. As soon as I said that, I felt some strong force push in on my brain. It was such a fucked up feeling.
It sounded like a strong wind was attacking my head. It only lasted a couple seconds and I woke up feeling dazed.
The second dream occured in a suprisingly similar situation about an hour later
. I was lying in bed and I heard papers rustling in
the region of my desk. I first think that someone is in my room so I look over but its too dark to see anything
so I try to turn on the light. It doesn't work. I remembered reading that light switches never work in dreams, so
I came to the obvious conclusion that I was in a dream. Instantly my body flew through my room at 100 miles per hour.
It was fucking intense, but didn't last long before I awoke.
In conclusion, lucid dreaming is pretty cool. Really fucking intense. Definately not what I expected, but when I learn to control it
I think it will be awesome.

I had a cool one a little while ago. When I became lucid I was a field next to a large school. I thought
of some of the best stuff to do that I can't do in real life. The first thing I tried was flying. I had no idea how
to do it so I attempted jumping as high as possible. I could get 5 feet into the air but it wasn't high enough, so
I asked some of the dream-characters to help me. They threw me 100 feet into the air and I floated over the school.
When I came down I didn't know what else to do. I tried punching random dream people but my fist
would slow down when it came near to their body. Pretty weird. I eventually gave up. The last thing I did was go
in search of the hottest dream-chick to fuck around with. Was an awesome dream.

Yea, its real. It doesn't really take a lot of time to learn, but you need patience and you have to be
motived for it to happen.

have nothing good to say ever, but i find everything you write to be very
interesting. stop doughting yourself so much. you say you dont have any special
qualities, but your the only person i know who feels comfortable posting their
life on the internet for people to read. your a talented writer and you could go
far with it if you just believed in yourself. im serious. i wouldnt be saying
this if i didnt think it was true.

Thats why the world created fiction, just think of the most retarded
shit you can, put it together, base it in space and it is science fiction. Or
just put it all together and it is fiction, the thing about fiction is, since it
is not real, the contents of the story dont have to be either.

Monday, 3/3/03 - "Don't stay home this time"
I'm reading a book called Exploring the World of Lucid Dreaming, and I'm determined to actually do it.
DJ Krush - The Message at the Depth: It's got a few cool songs on it, but a lot of them just plain suck.
DJ Shadow - The Private Press: Not as good as Endtroducing..., but its definately worth buying.
DJ Cam - Soulshine: Some cool acid-jazz electronica. Bounce and Condor (Espionage) are the best songs on
the cd.
Porcupine Tree - Stupid Dream: British band kind of like Pink Floyd, but not as good.
Radiohead - Kid A: Pretty good, a lot of fucked up vocal effects, some are cool, some get annoying.
Radiohead - Pablo Honey: My second favorite Radiohead CD, next to OK Computer. It's got some quality songs
on it.
Radiohead - Amnesiac: Very similar to Kid A, maybe too similar.
