Red-Eared Slider
Housing: Red-eared sliders can live in a 10 to 15 gallon until they reach full size. after they reach full size they will need a 25 to 30 gallon tank, because they will attain an average shell length of 5 to 11 inches.

Feeding: Juvenile turtles require surpluses of minnow or baitfish because goldfish arent suited to fit the nutritional needs of the baby turtle.
Adults need more vegetables than protein.

Heating:turles require a basking area with a 50 to 75 watt bulb.(i preffer uv bulbs).

Substrate: Gravel should be used in the tank, The water  hight  should be as high as the turtle.

Handling: Turtles should rather run on the floor supervised than to be handled.
