Wood Frog
Housing: A colony of wood frogs can be easily housed in a 10 to 15 Gallon aquarium.

Feeding: wood frogs will easily accept almost any kind of insect. Wood frogs also require a once a week minimum feeding of fish and worms.

Heating: Wood frogs need a low temp of 65 to 70 degrees. However don't let the temp. drop to low or the frogs will stop eating.

Substrates: Wood frogs are both terrestrial and semi-aquatic so they will need a mixture of both for their captive environment. For substrates I preffer gravel for the water and peat moss for their bedding.

Hibernation: Wood frogs are easily hybernated due to the fact that they can completely freeze over for up to 2 months.
