SUMMERSLAM '95

1-2-3 Kid vs. Hakushi
Hakushi has some cool looking "tattoos" of Japanese letters on him.  The Kid does alot of the falling down and popping right back up routine.  Alot of risk taking by both, Hakushi pulling off some impressive backflips and cartwheels.  Hakushi wins and one of his "tattoos" are rubbing off.

Dok Hendrix interviews King Mabel.  This interview is evidence that Dok is insane.

Hunter Hearst Helmsley vs. Bob "Spark Plug" Holly
HHH is still the snobby character with his xtra-large nose pointed high in the aire.  Bob Holly looks a bit different with long brown hair.  During the match, we see that the British Bulldog has arrived in the arena although he is not scheduled to be there.  Hunter Hearst Helmsley wins with the Pedigree.

We see a tug of war on the water with the Pittsburg Fire Dept. against WWF superstars Bam Bam Bigelow (Captain of the WWF Team), Savio Vega, Henry Godwinn and Mabel.  The WWF wins and the Fire Fighters have to take a dunk in the water.

Jacob and Eli Blu vs. The Smoking Gunns
Those Blu guys have alot of hair!  And I believe Billy Gunn has a mustache.  Never-the-less, the Smoking Gunns win this one.

Skip and Sunny, The Bodydonna's vs. Barry Horowitz
Horowitz has suspenders on his trunks and Sunny looks like she has a string up her butt.  Hakushi comes down and distracts Skip so Horowitz can get the roll-up and the win.

Appearance by Dean Douglas who, in a classroom setting, talks about the match.

Interview with Shawn Michaels.  He's got some big earrings on for this one.  He calls himself the "Greatest Intercontinental champion ever."  Well, aren't they all?

Women's Championship match- Bertha Faye (with Harvey Whippleman) vs. Alundra Blayze(champion)
"Big" Bertha wins this one with a sit-down powerbomb.

Casket Match-Kama (with Million Dollar Man) vs. The Undertaker (with Paul Bearer)
Undertaker gets some mad pops, he's really over with the crowd.  There is a "coffin camera" inside the 3 to 4 foot deep casket.  Kama gets a freaked out look when he gets on or in the casket.  The crowd starts a "Rest In Peace" chant for the Undertaker.  Highlight of the match was when Kama tried to piledrive the Undertaker onto the casket but the Undertaker back-body dropped him into the ring.  At one point, both men are in the casket with the lid shut, Kama tries to escape but Undertaker pulls him back in.  Undertaker chokeslams Kama and one piledriver later, Kama is rolled into the casket and the lid is shut.

Video footage is shown of a feud between Bret Hart and Jerry Lawler, including Lawler getting Yankem to fight in a match for him.

Issac Yankem D.D.S. vs. Bret Hart
Soon into the match, there is a nice bulldog by Hart.  When Bret gets Yankem into the sharpshooter, Lawler pulls Yankem to the ropes.  Bret pulls Yankem down on the turnbuckle post and ties his legs together with a cord, as the ref is untying him, Bret beats on Lawler.  Brets neck get tangled between the top and middle ropes, Lawler and Yankem pull on him.  Bret wins by DQ.  Lawler leaves with Yankem

Dok Hendrix interviews Razor Ramone-during the interview, Bret walks by, aided by Brisco.

Intercontinental Ladder Match-"The Bad Guy" Razor Ramone vs. Shawn Michaels
Huge ovation for Razor, even bigger one for Michaels.  Dok Hendrix joins Vince McMahon at the announce postion.  This match is the highlight of the entire show.  Sid is seen watching the matchup on a monitor.  SEE THIS MATCH!!  At the end, Shawn Michaels is the winner.  Razor grabs the belt, flings Michaels around and....hands the belt to him.  This is followed by a handshake and a hug.

Dean Douglas is talking about Razor when Razor comes in and beats him senseless
for making fun of him.

WWF World Title-King Mabel vs. "Big Daddy Cool" Diesel(champion)
Mabel purposely knocks out ref, Mabel and his tag team partner double team Diesel until Lex Luger comes out.  After a nearfall by Mabel, Diesel makes a comeback and with a 2nd rope clothesline, he wins.

So, where are these guys now?

Match 1: 1-2-3 Kid and Hakushi--Well, the once clean-shaven Kid is now known as X-Pac, as for Hakushi there's a picture of him with Lenny Lane on
Lodi's official website but I'm still trying to find out what he's up to.

Match 2: Hunter Hearst Helmsley and Bob "Spark Plug" Holly--Triple H, once the blue-blood American, became a degenerate and then WWF champion, not bad huh?  Bob Holly got a haircut and dye job and became the first super-heavyweight who was
under 300 lbs.

Match 3: Skip with Sunny and Barry Horowitz--Well, you should recognize Skip as Chris Candido and Sunny as Tammy Lynn Sytch.  Barry Horowitz can occasionally seen on WCW, still patting himself on the back.

Match 4: Bertha Faye with Harvey Whippleman and Alundra Blayze--Well, the lady formerly known as Bertha Faye is in WCW right now on a short basis I'd imagine, Alundra Blayze can be found in WCW under the name Madusa.

Match 5: The Undertaker with Paul Bearer and Kama with the Million Dollar Man--Well, the Undertaker and Paul Bearer haven't changed much since Summerslam '95, still in WWF under the same names.  Kama, however, is known as The Godfather "cuz Pimpin' ain't easy" The Million Dollar Man can be seen giving Christian lectures around the country, and sometimes joins WCW for some internet Backstage Blast.

Match 6: Bret Hart and Issac Yankem--Well, most of you should know, that Bret is now in WCW.  Don't recognize who Issac Yankem is today?  Well, that's because he's stuck behind a mask.  After making another appearance in the WWF as the new "Diesel", WWF people liked him so much, they brought him back to play Kane.

Match 7: Razor Ramone and Shawn Michaels--Well, after getting rid of the accent (but not the personality) of Razor, Scott Hall went to WCW as one half of the Outsiders.  Shawn Michaels is now the Commisioner of WWF, making appearences every now and then.

Match 8: Mabel and Diesel--Well, in early '99 Mabel came back as part of the Ministry of Darkness with the name Viscera.  Diesel went to WCW as the other part of the Outsiders as Kevin Nash.
