Here are just a few of the hobbies I enjoy and links
for other hobby sites and information. I am always
looking for something new to do, so any advice
or opinions are always welcome. Enjoy!

Shopping is what I enjoy the most. It relaxes me and helps me forget about whatever is bothering me. I mostly like shopping for my daughter or my house. Some places I like the best are: Pier One, Amazon, Baby's R Us, and Macy's, just to name a few.
Web Design is a fairly new hobby of mine. I started out by trying to build a homepage with GeoCities. And quickly realized I had no idea what I was doing and I wanted to do it right. So I bought a book, Web Publishing with HTML in 21 Days by Laura Lemay and started there. After doing some research I decided that I would buy a graphics program and chose Ulead's PhotoImpact, which I love. Then later purchases would be, Macromedia's Dreamweaver, Flaming Pear's BladePro, and several other books. That is how it started and I have loved every minute of it.
Gardening is another favorite although I don't do it very much since the baby. I love the feeling of planting a seed and watching it grow to something beautiful. House plants are another favorite, but I don't spend as much time caring for them as I would like.
Reading is something I have learned to love within the past 4 years. I used to hate reading. I guess that's because I always had to (highschool, college). I started reading romance novels to pass the time and then I realized that I can really learn alot by reading a book, so now I try to read something that will teach me something. Here is just a sample of my latest findings: Protecting the Gift by Gavin De Becker, Healthy Sleep Habits, Happy Child by Marc Weissbluth, See Jane Win by Dr. Sylvia Rimm.

Crafting is the newest hobby of mine. I really don't have many projects under my belt but I am exploring and trying to decide which to do next. I have made a eucalyptus spray. And started to experiment with scrapbooking but that's about it. I am waiting for a new Michael's to be built by my house and then I'm afraid you won't be able to keep me out of there.
