For some people, the Siamese Human Knot is not the most memorable image from Nora Clavicle and the Ladies’ Crime Club. They remember the image of mini-skirted policewomen reacting in terror to mechanical mice.

The ABC Photo Division Press Information sent out with the above picture was as follows:

 When Gotham City is overrun with mechanical mice - - loaded with TNT - - two policewomen (Alyce and Rhae Andrece) react in typical female manner on ABC-TV’s BATMAN, in color, Thursday, January 18 (7:30 - 8 PM, EST).


A local newspaper’s TV weekly TV section, however, ran a caption with interesting additional information:

NICE FOR MICE: Two pulchritudinous policewomen (Alyce and Rhae Andrece) react in typical female manner when Gotham City is overrun with mechanical mice on “Batman” at 6:30 p.m. Thursday, channels 2, 17 and 19. It’s no dice for mice when Batman discovers they are loaded with dynamite. The mice were manufactured in Nice.
