| Recently I have been pretty obsessed with the idea of running a nitrous kit. I have found the kit I want, and I am saving money for it. I plan to do the install myself, from what I have seen its pretty straightforward, what I would like is some info from other people who have experience with nitrous. Questions I have include: I was told by the nitrous sales guy that when you are running a small dry shot of nitrous (40-70 shot) you DON'T need to add fuel. Is this true? It doesn't make sense to me. With the car running about 15psi of boost and the current mods, how much more power will the M46 take? I have been told the limit is around 225-250. I know this, if you have blown up an M46 from power, I'd like to hear your viewpoint. As far as the engine goes do I have anything to worry about? I *think* in the end I would be making around 260 at the flywheel or so... Anything else I am forgetting? |
