The boys of 2gether throw a huge party at their new pad in L.A., given to them by their new management company, What-ev Records. They will be opening for teen pop queen Lorelei.

Jerry tells his girlfriend, Erin Evans, to meet him downstairs so they can have some privacy. But in the dark, he kisses Lorelei, who followed him. She's interested in dating him, but he rejects her.

When 2gether rehearses their dance moves for the big show, it ends up being a disaster, and their managers keep them locked up in the house again until they get it right. They find out that Jerry kissed Lorelei last night, and they order him to ask her out to bring great publicity to the band. Jerry doesn't want to, but the other members convince him to call her "for the band."

Meanwhile, Chad is very nervous about performing on stage. Doug tries to help Chad get over his shyness by giving him a stuffed dog and pretending that it is a fan. Chad begins to feel more comfortable singing to his "fans," but is later convinced that the stuffed animals are real when conflicts arise between them.

Mickey is tired of staying in the house, so he decides to leave, pimp jacket and all. Q.T. wants to come along, but Mickey thinks he's too young to party. At the convenience store, Mickey is pulling out beer from the fridge, and he sees Q.T. in the window with a sad look on his face (and a pimp jacket, too). He tells him to come in, and they try to purchase the beer. Since the cashier knows they are underage, they end up only buying "strong" soda pop. They party all night, and as Q.T. gains acceptance from Mickey, they form a special bond.

Jerry ends up going on a date with Lorelei, and they retreat to her hotel room. He, however, cannot kiss her and confesses that he's involved with another girl. He leaves Lorelei alone in her room.

When he returns home, both he and Erin watch breaking news on MTV that Lorelei and Jerry O'Keefe went to her hotel room and made sweet love for several hours." Erin storms out of the house. Doug tells Jerry to confess his love for her at the concert tomorrow night, and he decides to do it to win Erin back.

Moments before 2gether is to open for Lorelei on stage, the managers congratulate Jerry on the publicity with Lorelei. They suggest that he announce their relationship, but Jerry wants to tell Erin that he loves her. When he insists on telling the truth, the managers threaten to remove him from the band and replace him with one of "eighteen rejects from O-Town."

When 2gether is on stage, Chad becomes nervous again, but when a fan hands him a stuffed bear, he sings to the bear and is no longer shy. In the middle of singing "Every Minute, Every Hour," Jerry goes down to the floor and proposes to Erin. She says no, and Jerry returns to the stage, close to tears.

After the performance, Erin explains why she said no. They eventually kiss and make up, and the applause is so loud outside, that2gether returns on stage for an encore.
