Hell
is mentioned by Peter & John
II
Peter 2:4
But if God spared not the
angels that sinned but cast them into hell
and delivered them into chains of darkness, to be reserved until judgment...
II
Peter 2:9 The Lord knoweth how … to reserve the unjust unto the day of
judgment to be punished.
Revelation
20:13, 14, 15 ...and death and hell
delivered up the dead which were in them, and they were judged every man
according to their works. And death and hell
were cast into the Lake of Fire…And
whosoever was not found written in the book of life was cast into the lake
of fire.
Can
You Escape Hell?
Hebrews
2:3 How shall we escape if we neglect so great a salvation; which at the
first began to be spoken by the Lord…
Acts
4:12 Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name
under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved?
None
Other Name
Acts
16:30 ...Sirs, what must I do to be saved?
Acts
16:31 ...Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy
house.
John
3:16,17 For God so loved the
world that He gave His only begotten Son that whosoever believeth in Him shall
not perish, but have everlasting life. For God sent not His Son into the world
to condemn the world but that the world through Him might be saved.
I’m
A Good Person.
God
wouldn't send me to hell.
Romans
10:11 As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one.
Romans
3:23 For all have sinned and come short of the glory of God;
Ephesians
2:8, 9 For by grace are ye saved by faith; and that not of yourselves; it is
the gift of God. Not of works, lest any man boast.
John
3:18 He that believeth on Him is not condemned but he that believeth not is
condemned already because he hath not believed in the name of the only begotten
Son of God.
Romans
10:9 ...if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and
shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt
be saved.
Romans
10:13 For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved.
This
Is Only A Scare Tactic
Consider
this:
You’re
traveling down the highway. Ahead, the bridge is washed away. If you continue on, your
car is certain to plunge into the river and you will drown. But...someone has put up a flashing light.
You slow down. There’s another warning sign. “Bridge out ahead.” Now,
will you continue on the same path, and tell yourself that it’s only a scare
tactic? Or will you heed the warning and turn back from certain destruction?
Jesus
warned of eternal destruction and damnation when He was on earth.
The Bible warns of the certain condemnation
to come. But Satan wants you to
ignore the warning. In your heart,
you know what you must do. Say,
Yes, to eternal salvation.
Only
You Can Chose
Do
you have a guarantee that you will live another day? That choice will be gone if
you die tonight, unsaved. But you can heed the warning and come to Christ and eternal
life right now, today.
“...if
thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus Christ, and shalt believe in
thine heart that God hath raised Him from the dead, thou shalt be saved.
Pray
now to receive salvation:
Dear
God, I know I’m a sinner. I
believe you sent your Son, Jesus Christ, to die for me. I ask now that You save
my soul, change my heart and life, and help me to live for You.
Lord, thank you for saving me. Amen.
If
you have prayed to receive Jesus Christ into your heart and life, please find a
church to grow in.
Tell
others about your decision to stand for Christ. Share with them the knowledge
that though they are sinners like you, they too can receive the same gift of eternal
salvation that you did. Like you, their name can be written in God’s book of
life.
Revelation
20:15 And whosoever was not found
written in the book of life was cast into the lake of fire.
