Why do words just not seem enough
You say I love you, but at times they seem inadeguate
They do not seem to tell all of it
There is so much more
They are the feelings that have no words
They are just there,
You try to say them and stumble
Words should tell the story
Convey every aspect of feelings
There are just so many, maybe that is why
How can you tell someone all that is inside
You lose count of the way someone makes you feel
Words should tell the feelings
So for a lose of the words you say, just three
I LOVE YOU.
Then you wonder if that is enough
You think there should be more
To list the feelings that a loved one inspires
Would take forever,
Songs tell some of it
But they are words of another
You want your own words but how to find them
Because lovers have been saying them for all time
You try for a new one, something that will do it
Explain all in one word
The only one I can come up with is "YOU"
You are the one I want in my life
You are the one that I need in my life
You will always have a place in my heart
You will always be a part of my soul
You are what I want and need to help me be complete,
And for that I thank you.. I love you.. I want you.
Maybe they are all the words you need.
I hope so.. because they are all I have.
I love YOU, I want YOU, and I need YOU.
