In My Heart
In my heart, I know no other. I alone keep it for me. My life is open, except for that Which I allow no one to see.
My family and my friends of old Are here, and then just memories. The happiness and joy I'm given-- I will not ask for more than these.
But if some brave and honest soul Will venture through the forest deep, She will see that which I've hidden, Protected for myself to keep.
And if she shares with me her own True wishes, hopes and dreams divine, And if she dares to make a vow that Her everlasting love is mine,
Then I will tame the pain and sorrow And anger that I'm afraid to face, And we'll break throught the barrier That once enclosed this sacred place.
She will reside there, in my heart, Amoung the smiles and laughter, Our lives will be a dream come true, And we'll live happily ever after.
