In a two run game the Detroit Tigers got by the Cleveland Indians by the score
of 8 to 6.

Cleveland fell behind quickly as the Detroit offense came through in the first
inning as they scored 3 runs on 4 base hits.  The Cleveland bats were silent
in the 9th.  

Jake Westbrook(1-1) picked up the victory, allowing 5 runs in 7 innings.
Westbrook got help from T.J. Tucker who earned his 1st save.  Kenny
Rogers(0-1) ended up with the loss.  He allowed Detroit 7 runs in 5 innings
