The West Wing Cookie Jar

Why the Cookie Jar?

Some of you may be wondering why I chose The West Wing Cookie Jar but I'm sure most of you have probably figured out that it is because of the cookie jar Mrs. Landingham used to keep on her desk through Season One and Season Two. I chose this name before "18th And Potomac", not forseeing this episode in the least. So in honour of this cute little 'thing' the show gave us, here is a listing of the episodes in which Mrs. Landingham's cookie jar was featured.

"Post Hoc Ergo Propter Hoc" (1:2)
Toby asks Mrs. Landingham if he can have a cookie and she tells him no after he teased her. Then she offers Sam one, which he accepts and Josh takes one as well.

"Lord John Marbury" (1:11)
After Josh tells her that he has been subpoenad, she offers him a cookie. He takes one and then puts it back after he finds out the President has been called into the Situation Room.

"The White House Pro Am" (1:17)
Danny is sitting in the outer office waiting for a meeting with the President. He mentions to Mrs. Landingham that she keeps looking over at him. She says she's not used to having members of the print media in the office. He tells her that he promises not to get ink on the furniture. She informs him that she was just going to offer him a cookie but now she's not.
