                                Out
                                of the darkness
                                You'll see who you are
                                The remnants of beauty
                                They're not very far

                                See what you need now
                                To give you your strength
                                Beauty in sorrow
                                Let hearts now lament

                                Once you see glory
                                Then you will know
                                Weeds that were flowers
                                Once again grow

                                Hold on to truth
                                Let it be there
                                See all God's wisdom
                                In most fervent prayer

                                Life is redeeming
                                That's how it should be
                                Gathered from ashes
                                The glory we see

                                Fragrance upon you
                                With love that you found
                                Subtle sweet softness
                                In life be your crown.

This is all about Kayla. Kayla was born in Irving, Texas on July 15, 1998. My lil baby is now 9 years old, and is in the 4th grade. The time that she was an infant went so fast. When we celebrated her 2nd birthday it made me realize how fast they grow!
Kayla is a very independant kid. And she is smart as a whip! She has always been a daddy's girl, but sometimes that would depend on who disciplined her last. LOL. Kayla was a true blessing to both of us. But an
extraordinary blessing to her daddy. He didn't have any children from his first marriage, no matter how much he wanted kids, he never got them. I was quite happy having 2 kids of my own to share with Randy, and then I found out about Kayla on the 22nd of December. When I showed him
the test result, his whole face just lit up, and he gave me the biggest hug ever. God gave to him one of the best gifts he could ever have asked for.
Kayla still loves Barbies, Disney Princesses, and baby dolls. She loves to watch movies, some of her fave TV shows are Hanna Montana, full house, and many more.
Kayla really knows what she wants, and she doesn't mind telling you so. And she also doesn't mind arguing with you either, I think she learned that from her dad! Kayla is also doing very well in school, she is a pretty darn good reader as well. She used to copy everything we would do and say. So we had to be careful in that area. She can also be very stubborn, and that I must say, she gets from Mom. And if she is calling your name, please please please answer!
That is something I learned real quick when she started talking.

Kayla loves the outdoors, and now she loves to go visit friends that live near us. She loves to ride her bike, and she also loves the water. She has certainly been a joy to her whole family. We have loved to watch her grow and accomplish new things everyday! And now she is coming into her own personality and independence, and growing up. We are so proud of her!

Kayla, you have just been a complete joy to your daddy and I. I thank God for you everyday. You have such a wonderful personality all your own. And you give so much to those around you, even without you knowing it at all.
You will probably never really understand how precious a gift you are to your daddy and I. I love you sweetie, so very very much! We all do! You are growing so fast, that it seems every second I turn around and look at you, you accomplish something else. My hope for you is that you may accomplish every goal you set for yourself, and you obtain every dream that your heart desires. I love you sweetie pie!
