POEMS FOR SARAH

SARAH This is the first poem I ever wrote for her, she was three weeks old. This is the poem my sister put on Sarah's bedroom door.

You are a blessing form above, born to show many of God's everlasting love.  The lord has a special plan for your life that He will later show. You are preciouse in His sight, this I know. Those who love you have waited so long for you; you were a suprise that only God knew! May God bless you and keep you each day, showing you in life of His way. I pray that you will always be blessed with such love as you walk someday with your Lord above. My beloved Sarah, you are a gift in my heart, I love you more each day even tho we are apart.                                  12/6/94

It broke my heart to read this at her funeral but I was honored when my sister ask me too.  The poem had a different meaning after she died.

HAPPY FIRST BIRTHDAY SARAH Your Auntie D waited so long for you...what a suprise that only God knew You are a beautiful gift from above, forever you will have all of my love You have a very special place in my heart, even if we are miles apart. This past year my love for you grew, you are so dear to me; if only you knew! I thank the Lord for this past year and pray He will always hold you near. May God bless you and keep you; and bless your special parents too!                                      11/12/95
