W HAT I BELIEVE IN
I have fairly eclectic beliefs.
Mostly I would consider my pathway through life
is that of a Celtic Wiccan. I worship the Goddess and the God.I believe for the most part that I have the freedom to believe the way I choose . I choose to believe in the triple Goddess and the horned God who was born of Her and is reborn each cycle. I should hope we all believe there is something vitally different and distinct about Celtic spirituality. Celtic spirituality comprises knowledge of the ancient Celtic heritage, a deep understanding of nature, and a healthy awareness of the supernatural. There is no division between the sacred and the secular, the natural and the supernatural, religion and life. It is essentially an embracing of life in its totality. The Celt is devout rather than religious. This is Celtic spirituality. It is not about the Celtic Church, because there never really was one, separate and definable in such terms. The spirituality of the Celt calls us back to what we are. It is a recall to reality. It is not religious; the physical and the spiritual are integrated to such a degree that there is nothing left to be religious about. The spirituality of the Celt is the living of life with the head in the heart to harm no one place or thing unless it harm us Much criticism has been leveled at the Witches Rede by outsiders who, by a quick reading of the text, assume that it is a license to do whatever "feels good" to the individual without accompanying responsibility. Nothing could be further from the truth. The Witches' Rede is rich with compassion, empathy and respect for others, the individual practitioner , the Goddess and God, and Mother Earth. It guides and directs our energies "for the good of all".
