| This site has historical and current information on Texas' Highways, as well as information on getting around Germany. Very interesting, with maps of proposed freeways in San Antonio, as well as photographs of various time periods of freeway construction. It is interesting to note that San Antonio's roads, in the suburbs, were laid out well before the 1950s. Also interesting that with the proposed highways laid out on top of the 1960 map, you get something that looks like San Antonio today. |

If you do, visit this site for the latest in unlicensced (and therefore, legal to download and distribute to your heart's content) anime straight from Japan and subtitled for your reading pleasure. Highly recommended animes: Jungle Wa Itsumo Hale Nochi Guu, The Legend of Galactic Heroes, and Lupin III. These files are viewable in the .avi format, and this site uses a "bit-torrent" system, which means that the downloads are screamingly fast (provided that you have a hi-speed connection of course). |

| The freeway fetish continues! This fellow here focuses mostly on urban areas in Texas. His baby right now is a book about the history of the complex Houston freeway network. The website often features diagrams, sections, and maps of current and projected freeways. A good information source for a freeway coming towards you, but the man is gun-ho about new construction. Private property means little -- if houses and apartments have to be bulldozed to add capacity, get the bulldozers started. He wonders why people don't like having their homes being knocked down to build a freeway. |
