A Skye Ryder Aerochute (Sr2cl). The "cl" stands for "classic. This a two seat model with a 500 square foot Performance Design chute layed out and ready to fly.

Runway in sight.

Approaching my home field, a grass strip, which can be see in the upper right area of the view, on the far side of the highway running from lower left to upper right.

Final Approach.

On short final to home field with a crab angle set to compensate for cross wind. Note that the altimeter reads 110 feet.

Two Powered Parachutes.

Life is full of choices. Here, I'm pondering whether to fly the purple or the teal green Skye Ryder.

The chute's coming up.

This is what the rig looks like as the chute comes up and is nearly inflated. When all the cells are open and the chute is centered overhead, then go to full throttle.

PPC Flying.

Flying gracefully and effortlessly overhead, a student enjoys the view from a hundred or so feet.

Landing is easy.

A Skye Ryder will almost make a great landing by itself. They are truly, very simple to fly and to land.
