Sailing Gallery

At the helm of a friend's 35 foot Catalina sailboat. Judging from the wind direction, we're on a close reach or maybe the forward edge of a beam reach and on the port tack.

My daughter Kelli and I, below deck on Airborne, my sailboat.

Rigging for sail aboard "Kelli G", my first sailboat that had enough room to sleep aboard. Just barely.

Mom and me sailing in Little Creek Amphibious Base harbor. This is the first sailboat my mother had ever been aboard. She loved it.

On the port tack in very light winds. "Kelli G" was a 21' Corinthian, a Carl Alberg design (as I recall), similar to Alberg's more famous Cape Dory "Typhoon".
