Seedless Strawberries

Back by popular demand ... I wrote this and then I was too embarrassed to put it in front of the public... So I changed the name and the ending. I've since decided I must be true to myself and my poetry.
Look
at this what a sight!
It
really was a lovely night.
Scented
candles burning low,
In
the fireplace embers glow.
An
empty bottle of good champagne,
Oils
left on the carpet to stain.
My
favorite CD on the stereo,
The
unwrapped box and pretty bow.
Delightful
little delicacies remain,
In
the face of passion, struggles food in vain.
The
blanket spread across the floor,
A
trail of clothes to the bedroom door.
It's all so wonderful don't you agree?
And
I only wish it had been for me.
