Image mapping on paint shop pro

Ok here we will teach you how to image map using paint shop pro.

First off you need to have an image. NOTE: YOUR LAYOUT MUST HAVE THE TEXT ALREADY ON TO IMAGE MAP IT! Here I will be using the Beyonce layout made for you guys.

STEP #1: Once your layout is done and you have whatever you are going to image map is done. You go up to veiw and go through the choices, and go to the toolbar. In those choices should be towards the bottom something that says web. Once that toolbar is up You go to the icon that i have circled.



STEP #2: The image below is what should show up when you click on the image mapping icon. The next thing you need to do is choose between the shapes available. As you can see I chose the rectangular shape for my image mapping. All that needs to be done to make this shape is drag the cursor over to where you want the shape.



STEP #3: After you have done that you must type in the url of the page that you want that spot to link to.

Next you just go down to where it says "Target" and choose between them.

For an explanation keep reading..... _blank= This puts the on a blank page meaning this puts you on a well lol blank page. _parent= This means that the page shows up in your layout. _self= Means it will go onto it's own page. _top= Means it will go to the top of a page.

Once you repeats these steps until you get all the parts image mapped make sure you save it.
