You know how people say you cant make layouts on paint? Well . . . THEY'RE WRONG! I mean i've made some of my layouts on paint. But anyways your layout that you make on paint might not be as good as layouts on paint shop pro (psp) but i think they are ok.
Well first open up paint and size your bitmap by clicking image then click attributes then click it the size you want. I would prefer you put 650x850 (when you are sizing your bitmap your popup should look like this . . .
Then choose the colors you want or choose the picture that you want to set as a background of the layout. To choose the colors click . . .
To paste a picture click edit, then paste, then move the picture where you want it (when pasting a picture, make sure you clicked the dotted square or you might not be able to paste your picture.) (And make sure if you dont want your layout to blend in with your layout then click the non blending in block and if u do click the blending block)
If you are trying to outline something like this . . .
To make writing click the "A"
(When writing something on a layout click the blending in block
if you want it to blend in with your layout)
To make a blog click either 1 of the shapes on the toolbar and make it as big or as small as you want it.
To make a line click either the straight or curved line on the toolbar
To make a line or blog thicker or thinner click the straight line and choose your thickness or thinness (I think thats how you spell thinness lol!)
To cut something out on your layout click the dotted square and right click and click cut and move it where you want it. (When you cut something out on your layout the place where you cut it from will turn white, but dont worry just click the bucket of paint (floodfill button)
and pick the same color you had before and floodfill the white spot and you're done.)
To customize a color for your layout click the base color of the color that you want (example: If you have pink and you wanted a lighter pink you would pick a pink from the color toolbar and you would click it twice)
and you should see a pop-up full of diffrent colors (it should've automatically have selected the same color pink that u picked) then click define custom colors and move the scrollbar thingie to the point where you see the color you want in the changing station.
Then click add to custom colors then click ok then your color should be in the same square where the base color was (even though it shows that it was already selected you might wanna click it again to make sure because sometimes it will remain the same as the base color.)
To save a layout you would save it as .PNG and then upload it on Photobucket and it should be done. (By the way photobucket is the best image host EVER!!!! But if you find 1 better let me know cuzz i can use as many image hosts as i can get!!!)
