Chapter Six...A New Evil

        Trunks walk in the house with Akeava.  He sat his stuff down, and called to his mother that he was home.  She was busy in the kitchen, making something to eat.  Trunks already knew what his father was up to.  Training like he would do everyday.  Goku might even be here sparing with him.  Bulma came out of the kitchen to greet her son, seeing a young lady with him see came over to introduce her self.
"Hello and who is this?" She asked
"A friend from school, her name is Akeava."  He said
"Hello, I'm Bulma." She said
"Hello." Akeava smiled.
"Supper, will be done in a while Trunks." She said to him.
"Okay."
First Trunks showed her Bra and Shotsu.  She did her "awws"  and held them, suprized by how strong they were then Trunks led her to his room where they sat down.  They talked for a while about what he was suppose to listen to in school, but didn't.  After a while Bulma knocked on the door.  She told Trunks Gohan was here and they both left his room to go see him outside.  He was out side watching the two fathers spar.  It wasn't searious at the moment they were both on the ground throughing kicks and punches and what not.  Trunks and Akeava came outside.
"Hi Gohan." Trunks said
"Hello."  He said.  Akeava waved, Gohan returned the motion.  Bulma peeked out the door and told Trunks to tell his father to come and eat. 
"Watch out for a stampead."  Gohan said
"Really." Trunk said, walking over to where his father would hear him.
"Otosan?" He said
"What do you want, can't you see I'm trying to beat Kakkaroto in the head." He said still sparing
"Its time to eat."  Trunks ignored this remark made by Vegiita.  They both stopped and headed inside.
"I should go now."  Akeava said.
"You don't want to stay and eat?" Trunks said.
"I shouldn't" She said
"Common, you can, beleave me its not like we don't carry alot of extra food."  Trunks said
"Okay."  Akeava gave in.
          They all sat down to eat.  Vegiita was already half down, so wasn't Goku.  Akeava tryed not to pay attention to how much they were eating and concintrated on her food.  Trunks and Gohan eat just as fast.  After Vegiita was done he was ready to fight again.  He literally draged Goku out side, who wanted to finish the small amound of food on his plate but didn't get a chance.  Akeava desided to leave now. 
"Do you want us to walk with you?" Trunks asked
"I don't care." She said
"Okay." Trunks and Gohan followed her outside and started to walk home with her. 
"So that was your mom and dad then huh Trunks?" She said
"Yeah thats them."  He said
"And your dad was there Gohan?" She said
"That was him." He said
"Your mom is really nice."  She said
"Yeah.  I think you caught my dad on a rather good day."  Trunks said.  Gohan smiled
"Did I?" She said
"Yeah."
          Gohan stuck his hands in his pockets.  A bright red streak flew over their heads just then.  It kept going until it hit the ground, exploding the land around it.  The impact was enough to shake the ground.  Akeava started to fall but Trunks grabbed her hand and pulled her up.  After the ground stopped and the dust settled, Trunks let go of her hand and looked around.
"What the heck was that?" Gohan said
"I dunno.  Lets go see." Trunks said
"Are you sure we should?" Akeava said
"It will be okay.  Common." Gohan said
          They aproched a large crater in the ground.  They all stood exsamining the huge hole before them.  There didn't really seam to be anything in it.  It didn't look like there was someing that ever caused the hole.  Trunks crossed his arms.  He looked a little closer seeing something move.
"Hey, what is that?" He said pointing it out to Gohan.
"I don't know.  I can't hardly see it." He said
"It looks like...."  He couldn't get any further because before he knew it something jumped up at him and knocked him down.  What ever it was, rapped around his neck and head.  It started to almost, something that could be qualified as sending electricity through Trunk's body. Trunks screamed.  Gohan tryed to think of something.  He finally took off his jacket, (which was not a conductor) and used that to pull off whatever was attacking Trunks.  It was as if he had been drained of power.  Akeava who was beyond freaked out run next to Trunks.  Gohan was already by his side.
"Trunks!  Are you alright?"  Gohan said putting his hand on Trunk's shoulder.  Trunks was laying on his stumach refusing to move. 
"Common Trunks, wake up!" Gohan said  He noticed a little mark on the side of Trunk's head where his temple was.  Gohan pressed two fingers to it.  It was almost like a burn or something.  Trunks opened his eyes.  He was breathing slow but steady.  With in minutes of the attack, Vegiita and Goku had senced the sudden drop in power from Trunks and were at his side too.
"Gohan Take her home, We are gonna take Trunks back." Goku said as Vegiita picked up Trunks.  Gohan nodded and started to finish walk Akeava home.
"How did they know what happen?  And how did they get here so fast?"  She asked Gohan.
"You would be suprized at what they are capable of."  Gohan said
"Is he gonna be alright?" She said very conserned
"Oh yeah, hes fine already.  Just a little weak, but he gain his strangth as we speak."  Gohan said
"How do you know?" She said. 
"Maybe some day we will tell you all about us and then you will understand but right now, I have to get back there." Gohan said
"Okay.  I will see you later then."  She said walking up to her door.  Gohan smiled and waved to her.
"Yeah see ya." Gohan said 
          He got back to the capsule corporation as fast as he could.  Trunks was alright, a bit unsure of what happen, but he was fine.  Gohan was still trying to figure out what happen, just as Trunks was.  Vegiita and Goku were asking questions, such as what did it look like, and could you sence it.  Both friends were unable to give very much information.  It all happen so quickly that neather of them could explain much. They desided to forget about it for now.  They had no idea what the thing was and plus it got away, with no way to track it in anyway.  Gohan said bye to Trunks and that he would see him at school.  Trunks waved to him, and called it a day. 
          The next day at school Akeava was real happy to see Trunks.  She asked if he was okay and how he was.  She also wanted to know if he knew anything about what happen.  Trunks told her he had no clue.  They found Gohan and all three talked while they waited for the first bell.  Videl soon joined them and found her self in a conversation with none other then Gohan.  The bell rang and everyone went to class  At lunch the two saiya-jins and their female friend sat together like always.  After they eat they went outside like they always did.  Just then one of the older students started pushing around a smaller kid.  Trunks crossed his arms as he watched the helpless, rather weak freshman compared to the old more built big bad 12th grader got pushed around.  There wasn't any teachers around so the kid was on his own, until Trunks had enough.  Gohan watched as Trunks walked up to the guy resposible for the comotion.  He grabbed the smaller kid and signaled him to get away.  Akeava (who didn't know that Trunks could really take care of himself) wondered if Trunks knew what he was getting into.
"What do you think your doing?  I had some busness to finish with that kid, and I don't like it when people put their noses where they shouldn't be." The kid said
"I'm sure there was no real good reson why you were picking on him so let just get on with our lives okay?" Trunks said walking away.
"Hey, don't run away boy, you got in my busness now your gonna stay in my busness."  He said grabbing Trunk's shoulder.  Trunks turned around.
"Look, you don't wanna fight me.  Its just not a good idea, so lets just shake hands and call it even okay?" Trunks said holding out his hand for a shake.  He slapped Trunk's hand away
"How about I brake your face in and then we'll call it even."  He said to Trunks.  By now everyone was watching.
"Oh yeah real tempting.  Sounds like a good deal, but I don't think you would be able to anyway, so how about just calling it even now??" Trunks said  The kid was real mad.  Trunks wasn't afrade of him at all which the kid was getting very mad that no matter what he said Trunks wouldn't really care.  He finally tryed to prove he was stronger.  The kid through a few punches, only hitting air. 
"I'm not goona fight you, there is no reson.  Your just waisting your time, common the bell is gonna ring so can we call it even or not?" Trunks said
"Koso, I'm not calling it even!" He said
"Do you want me to let you hit me?  Will that make you feel better?" Trunks said purposly letting him connect a punch to Trunks jaw.  Trunks wasn't effected.  The kids hand was hurt worse then Trunks.  He ran at Trunks with a flying leap he jumped at him, Trunks moved out of the way, unfortunetly the kid grabbed Trunk's shirt with some stroke of luck, ripping it a little.  The kid got up wondering how he missed.  He saw Trunk's shirt that was ripped.
"Ohh, I'm so sorry, I ment to rip your...What the hell is that!?!?" He said.  Trunks remembered his tail.  It was too late to hide it.  Gohan looked at Trunks.  They both knew that this wasn't gonna be good.
"What are you some kind of freak?"  He said.  Trunks didn't know what to say.  Everyone was looking at him like he was some kid of freak show.  It was just a tail, nothing more.  Why did they have to make such a big deal?
"Why am I a freak?" He said calmly
"You got a..a..its a.." The kid tryed to explain
"Its a tail." Trunks said
"A tail, that makes you a freak." He said to Trunks.
"Whats wrong with having a tail?" Gohan said stepping twards Trunks
"What you don't think its wierd for someone to have a tail?" The kid asked
"No...I mean I have had mine for a while." Gohan said unrapping his tail and showing it to everyone.
"Heh, They are both freaks!" He said
"Now, I don't see why having a tail makes us freaks." Gohan said
"Do you see any of us normal people with a tail? No, because we are normal." He said
"Yeah well until a minute ago I wasn't a freak but I showed my tail.  Look you didn't even know I had one when I did this," Gohan rapped his tail back." See can't even see it." He finished 
"But you still had it, you were hiding.  Didn't want to be called freak did you?  Well I don't blame you, if I had a tail I would jump off a cliff so there would be one less freak ont his planet" He said  Trunks was getting mad, Gohan noticed this.  He gave Trunks a warning stare trying to get him to calm down.  Trunks ignored this.  He couldn't take it anymore.
"I wouldn't recomend pissing me off anymore." Trunks said
"Ohh yeah why freak?" He said
"I don't think you quite grasp the situation here." Trunks said.  Gohan knew he was mad, but it was best to let Trunks alone.  Right now he was looking so much like his father.  Arms crossed and eye brows lowerd.  Yeah he was mad alright.
"Oh yeah hows that?" The kid ancerd.  Trunks walked closer to him backing him against the wall
"You don't wanna make me mad...." He began, grabbing the kids shirt and lifting him into the air. "...bad things happen when I get mad,  I told you earlyer to just call it even, but know you had to make a big deal out of me helping someone out, who you were just using for some sick pleasure.  The only thing that is much of a difference between you and me is that I am half saiya-jin, and also about 10000 times stronger then you which is only a bad thing for you.  Now eather call it even right now, and no more comments about my lovly tail or I can show you my temper." He said still holding the kid in the air.  He was scared now.  He wispered "even" to Trunks
"Okay, thats better." Trunks said putting him down.  Trunks raised his tail up infront of the kid.
"Now, isn't it a very nice tail?" He said.  The kid nurvously shook his head yes.  Trunks gave him a Vegiita smirk and walked away.  The kid looked at Gohan, then started to walk away too.  Akeava  followed Gohan who followed Trunks.  He was walking with his tail out and about.  No need to hide it anymore since in less then fifteen minutes the whole school would know anyway.  Gohan did the same as well. Trunks sat down at one of the empty tables.  Gohan and Akeava soon to follow.  Trunks stared a hole in the table. Gohan watched him carefully
"Are you okay?" He said
"Is just a tail, lots of things have tails, cats, dogs, mice, and all that.  They act like they have never seen one before."  Trunks said
"I know, but ohh well.  Let them think what they want." Gohan said
"I really don't like the extra attention though." He said to Gohan.
"Me eather." He said in responce.  Trunks stood up on an impulce.
"Koso quit staring alright!?!" Trunks yelled to the whole lunch room.  Almost all the people there turned around.  Gohan crossed his arms and leaned back. 
"Why don't we charge a buck for people to just stare, at least we would be making money." Trunks said
          The bell rang and they went to their classes.  Up until the end of the last class Trunks was getting all kinds of attention from people.  People who stared people who asked stupid questions, people who were scared of him and people who wanted to see if it was a real tail.  Gohan was also getting this same reaction.  The three walked home in silence together.
