	Chapter Eight...Time passes, and a new saiya-jin arrives

It had been over three weeks since Trunks had been gone. Gohan prayed day and night for his return. Everyday that passed seamed to make it that much more hopeless. Some of the kids at school began to think it was there fault for being so crule, that maybe he didn't want to return. Gohan said nothing to them about where he was or why he wasn't in school. Akeava seamed to be depressed. She wasn't the same without Trunks to talk to. Gohan also was changed. He was also begining to think that Trunks would come back. Another week went by. Then another. No Trunks. Akeava and Gohan still did not break the commitment of walking home together. Gohan would always walk Akeava all the way home, then walking back to his house. Chichi began to worrie about her son, (imagine that) and how he was acting. She knew she couldn't do anything to make him feel better. One day when Gohan was walking with Akeava after school.... "Forty days..." Gohan said "Hai...And tomarrow will be fortyone and the day after will be fortytwo, and then forty three...." Akeava said. Gohan returned to being quiet. They continues to walk home. When they had Akeava's house in sight they noticed a red streak fly across the sky. It looked like a comet. It landed very close to where they were. Gohan staired in the direction or the landing. "What was that?? Another one of those things?!" She said backing up behind Gohan. "I...dont know." He said. Gohan frose. *No....It couldn't be...* He thought. It was. He crawled out of the ship. His eyes were blurry and he was weak. Looking around he relized he was home. They didn't get him this time. He stood up, bearly able to stand. He fell forward as the collar was still restraining his power by about 80 persent. *I'm home...finally.* He rested on the ground now falling asleep knowing soon someone would sence him and come to find him. The ship he had exscaped in was on fire and the crator he lay in was deep. Gohan snapped out of his trance and grabbed Akeava's arm. "What are you doing?!?" She yelled as he picked her up and flew to the landing sight. He didn't ancer her te whole way there. He flew as fast as he could trying to find where it landed. He finally found a crater with a ship shattered and burning at the bottom of it. He set Akeava down and jumped into the deep crator. Akeava wondered what he would want to do here. She figured it was another monster. Gohan picked up Trunk's limp body. His power was almost nothing. Tears fell from Gohan's eyes as he climed out of the landing spot. Akeava instantly freaked out seeing Trunks in Gohan's arms. He layed Trunks down again. His body was in bad shape from the crash. He had some burns and many cuts. There was a large gash on his shoulder and chest. Gohan placed his hand on Trunk's cheak. He noted the strange looking collar around him and the two things on his temples. Gohan sighed. *What did they do to him?* "Is he gonna be alright?" Akeava asked. "It think so, but I can't be sure. I have to take him home." Gohan said. Gohan picked up Trunks and then Akeava. He brought her home since it was on the way and told her that she could come to see him later. He got Trunks home as fast as he could. Trunks opened his eye a little. He was in the healing capsule. He smiled to him self. They found him just as he figured they would. He knew his power was completely regained, but his mother would let him out since they didn't know about the energy reducing collar on him. Trunks tapped on the glass. Bulma saw him and wondered what he wanted. Trunks pulled off the mask which allowed him to breath. He waited as his mother quickly opened the capsule to get him out. The water drained and he stepped out and sat down right away. "What are you doing your not done yet." She said putting a towl around him. "Yes I am, my energy will not get any higher since I have this thing on." Trunks said pulling at the band around his neck. "What is that?" She said "It cuts my power by about 75%" Trunks said "Ohh no wonder you weren't healing any more." She said "I knew you wouldn't let me out so I had to do something, or I would be stuck in there for a long time." Trunks said. "Now what are thease thing?" Bulma said pointing to his head. "Plugs...but its hard to explain, can you just find a way to get them off of me?" He said "Sure." Bulma said. Bulma got the collar off soon. When it was off Trunk's power came back to him, which made him feel alot better. Gohan felt the power increase and came right over. Trunks was now as good as new. He suggested to Trunks that he go see Akeava, because she had been very upset the whole time that he had been missing. Trunks flew over there as fast as he could. He couldn't wait to see her. He landed nexted to the door and knocked. As soon as she saw him she jumped in his arms hugging him as hard as she could. He scooped her in his arms a flew away. He stopped, hovoring high in the air. Akeava smiled as she looked at him. "So are you gonna tell me or not?" She said "Tell you what?" He asked "How does one turn their hair a different color like that?" She said "Ohh, yeah. Well, you know how I told you I was half saiya-jin?" He said "Yeah." "Well there was this legend that there would be a saiya-jin fighter with the power to turn into a super saiya-jin. No one really knew what it was because there hadn't been one for a very long time, but when Goku-son was on Namack he turn super saiya-jin while fighting Freeza. I turned super saiya-jin when I was 13, but now me and Gohan and Goku-son can go beyond super saiya-jin." He said "Really, I never knew there was so much about you I didn't know." She said "Ready for your lesson?" Trunks said "Lesson?" She asked "I said I would teach you how to fly." He said "Oh, yeah so teach me already." She said Trunks smiled and dropped her. She didn't scream this time but she didn't fly eather. Trunks caught her. They did this a few more times until Gohan showed up hovaring beside them. "Hey what are you doing?" Gohan said "Trying to teach her how to fly." Trunks said "Really. Has she yet?" He asked "Not yet." Trunks dropped her again. He ended up grabbing her right before she hit the ground. Trunks brought her back up to the highth that Gohan was at. Gohan smilled at Trunks. "Hey Trunks your missing one thing." Gohan said "What would that be?" Trunks said look at Gohan. "Don't saver her this time." Gohan said "Nani??? Your not gonna save me, wait don't drop me...!!!!!" Akeava said as Trunks dropped her. "I'm not saving you this time!" Trunks yelled to her. "But TRUNKS!!!!!!!" She yelled. He didn't bother to move. She kept falling, knowing she had to calm down she stopped yelling and tryed to think. She looked down as the ground got closer. Suddenly she stopped about a foot from the ground. She looked up Trunks and Gohan were still in the same spot. She was flying!! They both smiled as she slowly rose up to where they were. She was a little shaky but she was flying none the less. "I did it!!" She said "I knew you had it in you." Trunks said "This is so cool." She said. Akeava started to fly around them doing little flips and stuff. After a while Gohan had to get home. He had accompanyed them for a while and if he didn't get home his mother would have a fit. Trunks and Akeava sat around on the ground next to a lake that was nere by. They both sat quietly enjoying each other's company. Akeava watch Trunks remembering how she felt when he was gone. She was so happy to have him back again. It started to get dark out and They desided to fly home. Trunks faced her before she opened the door to her house. She looked up at him smiling. His big blue eyes looking down at her. He put his arms aroung her suddenly. This wasn't just a friendly hug any more. She felt safe in his arms. "I missed you." He said "I missed you too." She said holding him. He tipped his head down and kissed her. Neither of them wanting the moment to end. Seven years have passed. The energy sucking monsters were no more. They didn't have enough energy to make it to earth, let alone any where else. They wouldn't kill Trunks because they knew if they lost him they would die. Gohan is now twenty three years old and happly married to Videl, who is in her eighth month of being pregnet. Trunks is twenty one years and Goten is seven so is Shotsu and Bra. Dende has successfuly made his own dragon balls and Piccolo has been brought back. "I found it I found it!!!" Shotsu yelled "Good work! Now we only have two more to find right?" Goten said putting the dragon ball in a sack. "Yep! I can't wait to make a wish! What are you gonna do with your with Goten?" Shotsu said "Lots of candy and good food to eat so it will never run out!" Goten said with a big grin. "I want a big play park with toys and rides for free to get on!" Shotsu said "What about me I want a wish!" Bra said following them as they walked "I thought I told you not to come with us! There is only two wishes so you can't have one till next time." Goten said "Thats not fair." She said crossing her arms. "Just be happy you can see the dragon." Goten said "Yeah...sure..." Bra said. After the trio of half saiya-jins had six dragon balls in their hands they went to find the last one. "The radar says its close." Shotsu said looking at the green screan "I hope we find it soon, I'm hungry!" Goten said Suddenly Something knocked Goten and Shotsu down to the ground. A man with a scar over his left eye and a cape stood before them. He grabbed the bag away that had the dragon balls. He walked away in the direction of the last dragon ball. "Hey you big jerk that was our dragon balls, we found them!!" Bra yelled Goten got up and help Shotsu up. "Give thoses back, we are gonna make a wish!" Goten yelled to him. "Kakaroto!" A voice from behind said "Kakaroto?? I'm not him." Goten said turning around. "Kakaroto!!" The huge man yell flying at Goten. "Nani?? Get away from me!!" Goten yelled jumping out of the way. He doubled back at Goten, grabing his head and smashing it into the ground. "Goten!!!" Shotsu yelled flying at his attacker. Shotsu did his best to kick and punch at him, only to be knocked away. "Kakaroto!!" He yelled again as he picked up Goten. "I'm not Kakaroto!! I'm Goten, don't you beleave me?" He yell at the man holding him upside down by his foot. "Kakaroto!" He yell at him again. In the distance Goten saw the dragon shooting up from the dragon balls. "The Dragon!!!" Goten yelled, noticing something around the man's waist. "Nani??! He..Hes got a tail?!" Goten said "No way!" Shotsu said seeing it around him. The man rapped his hands in a strong hold around Goten's chest squeezing him as hard as he could. "AARRHH...LET GO...OF ME!!!" Goten yelled "Put him down!" Shotsu yelled flying at them, as his hair turned golden and his eye green. Shotsu managed to make him drop Goten. He stood up turning super Saiya-jin also. "Now lets see how tough you are!" Shotsu yelled. The dragon shot up glowing as the Dragon ball send flying into different directions. Trunks looked up from what he was doing. There was a strange ki that he felt in the distance, not to mention his brother's and Goten's ki raising to super Saiya-jin. Something was going on. Gohan also noticed it he stood up and looked around. "You feel it too?" Trunks asked "Hai, what is it?" Gohan said "I dunno, let go see." Trunks said getting up too The two young saiya-jins battled on with the insane saiya-jin who was interested only in Kakaroto only but seemed to be content with beleaving that Goten was his father. Bra hid close by since he wasn't yet able to go super saiya-jin. Shotsu sent a mass of ki blasts at the still nameless enemy. Goten quickly flew behind him. "Kaaaaa...meeeee..haaa...meee...HAAA!!!!" Goten yelled blasting him from behind. "Ha! Hes not so tough after all!" Shotsu said "KAKAROTO!!!!" He yelled sending a ki blast to Goten before he knew what happen. "No Goten!!" Shotsu yell. The blast ingulfed him sending his body smashing to the ground "Kuso!!! AHHHRR!!" Shotsu screamed as he speeded to his foe with a ki blash as big as he could get it. He retaliated by sending a bigger blast back at Shotsu. He bearly got out of the way in time. Before he he could react his opponent was already sending another. This time he couldn't get out of the way and it hit sending him to the ground. "Onichan!!" Bra said runing to Shotsu. Their adversary landed, putting his foot on Goten's back. He started to put his weight on him. Goten started to cry out in pain. "No! Leave him alone!!!" Shotsu yell getting up and running to help, but was only knocked away. "Tosan stop it now!!" A voice yelled. Shotsu look up to see someone running and jumping at the saiya-jin who was crushing Goten. "YAMERO!!" He yelled. The attacker was caught off gard and moved him foot off of Goten. Shotsu crawed over to Goten while the foe was distracked by the new comer. He caught the kid's tail and flung him twards Shotsu who was holding Goten. He tryed to get out of the way but wasn't fast enough and the kid smashed into them. He was about to send a ki blast to finish off the three kid who were in a small bunch, when something hit him from behind knocking him passed Goten and Shotsu also the kid who had been there too. Standing there now was his attacker. "Onichan!!" Shotsu yelled getting up and running over to Trunks. "Hey osanago..Whats going on?" He asked Gohan landed seeing Goten laying limp on the ground. He ran over and picked him up. "Well we were looking for the dragon balls when this guy took them from us then he called the dragon out and then there was this big guy over there and he was yelling Kakaroto at us and he attacked Goten and then we tryed to stop him, then the dragon was gone and then that kid over there distracked him and I went to help Goten then you came." Shotsu said as fast as he could get the words out. "Who is he?" Trunks asked "I don't know but hes got a tail like us!" Shotsu yelled "Nani a tail?!" Trunks said "Yeah!" Shotsu said Suddenly Trunks was knocked away by the unknown saiya-jin. "Oniichan!" Shotsu yelled Trunks got up and prepared to fight. Gohan Layed down Goten by Shotsu. "You two stay here okay?" He said "Hai." Shotsu said sitting down by Goten. Gohan went to help Trunks. "Ooi you kid come over here!!" Shotsu yelled to the kid who had helped him earlyer. He carfully made his way to Shotsu. "Hai?" He said quietly. "Who is that guy and why does he want Goku?" Shotsu asked crossing his arms "He is my father, and who is Goku?" The kid said "Okay why does he want Kakaroto?" Shotsu asked "My Ojiisan said that he is the legendary super saiya-jin and he has some old grude with Kakaroto." He said sitting down. "Why does everyone call Tosan Kakaroto? his name is Goku." Goten said sitting up. "I don't know Goten." Shotsu said "Who was it that made a wish?" Goten asked "My Ojiisan." The kid ancered "Whats your name kid?" Shotsu asked. "My name is Roheyleo." He said "I'm Goten" He said "I'm Shotsu." He said Mean while, back at the fight. Gohan and Trunks both turned super saiya-jin together. They double teamed Brolly. They seamed to be getting the upper hand until Brolly turned super saiya-jin and then they started to go down hill. Goku stopped in the middle of a punch. He had been sparing with Vegiita like he usually did everyday. Vegiita had exspected a low that would conect to his fact which he was trying to block. It never came. He lowered his arms and looked around seeing Goku just standing there look into the distance. "Kakaroto, why the hell did you stop?" He said impationtly "Do you feel that ki?" He asked Vegiita. "What are you talking about that is just our two brats." He said refuring to Trunks and Gohan. "No the other one." He said. Vegiita consentrated, he could feel another ki out there that was as big as a super saiya-jin's ki. "Now I feel it, what do you think it is?" He said "I don't know, lets go see." Goku said turning his shoulder to Vegiita to hold on to so he could teleport. "Do I have to?" Vegiita said not wanting to put his hand on Goku's shoulder. "Vegiita come on, you want to get there fast don't you?" Goku said putting his hands on his hips. "Kuso.." Vegiita said putting his hand on Goku's shoulder. Goku placed to fingers on his forhead Brolly had a death grip on Trunk's neck. Trunk's feet were off the ground and he was trying to make him let go. He was kicking and fighting but Brolly refused to let go. Gohan stood up slowly and started to run at Brolly full force. Suddenly Goku and Vegiita apeared right in Gohan's path. He tryed to stop in time but ran right into Goku, knocking them both to the ground. "Ohh, hi Gohan, didn't know you missed me that much!" He said getting up. "Gomen Tosan I tryed to stop." He said taking his father's hand to help him up. "Its okay now whats going on?" Goku asked but didn't get an ancer because Gohan was already running at Brolly to help Trunks. "Hes a saiya-jin!" Vegiita said noticing Brolly Gohan slammed his fists into Brolly's head knocking him off balance and then he kicked his feet out from under him. Brolly droped Trunks and fell backwards. Suddenly Vegiita attack Brolly without warning. Gohan picked Trunks up and got him away from the fighting saiya-jins. Goku rushed over to them. Vegiita was fighting at full power which was not getting him anywhere. "Hey are you alright?" Goku asked Trunks "Never been better, but how are we gonna beat that guy. He is just to strong!" Trunk said "Yeah I was fighting with all my power and I couldn't beat him, and Vegiita doesn't look like he is doing much damage." Gohan said "Yeah I know, there has got to be away we can beat him." Goku said Vegiita was being trashed by the legenary freak, and wasn't doing a good job at all of trying to defeat him. Brolly sent a ki blast right to him which knocked him into the nearest huge rock pile. He didn't get up. Goku put two fingers to his head and teleported to Vegiita putting a hand on his sholder Goku teleported back to where Gohan and Trunks were, just before Brolly tryed to finsh him off. Vegiita sat up. Brolly was confused at first not know where they went but soon found them. Goku desided they had to get away and think of a plan. He teleported them all far enough away that they would be safe for a while but so they could still see Brolly. "What are we gonna do?" Gohan said "We can't do anything, he will kill us all." Vegiita said "What are you saying we should give up?!" Gohan yelled "He is the legenary super saiya-jin, we can't beat him!" Vegiita yelled back "Well I don't know about you but I'm not gonna give up!" Gohan yelled "Will both of you be quiet I know how to stop him!!" Goku yelled "Nani?...How?" Vegiita said "Fusion." Goku said "Fusion? You mean fuse into one?" "Hai, Vegiita fuse with me." Goku said. "Baka, I wont fuse with you!" Vegiita said "Vegiita we have to beat this guy!" Goku said "No, I won't fuse with you, I'd rather die!" Vegiita shouted "Well, we are all gonna die if we don't fuse, kuso...Everyone will die! You, me, your sons, mine too! UNLESS WE FUSE!!" Goku was getting tired of Vegiita's pride. Vegiita looked at Trunks who was stairing at him too. "Tosan..you have to." He said quietly to Vegiita. "Kuso..." Vegiita swore under his breath "Vegiita will you or not, we are running out of time." Goku said "Kakaroto, don't ever ask me to do this ever again!!!" Vegiita yelled. "Hai Vegiita, Gohan Trunks try to keep him away from us long enough so I can show Vegiita how to fuse." Goku said "Hai Tosan." Gohan said. Goku and Vegiita took off a little further away so he could teach Vegiita the pose.
