No page about myself could be complete without a
Gelsey Kirkland collection.
In my opinion Gelsey Kirkland is an amazing ballerina, and person.  Miss Kirkland was Mikhail Baryshnikov's first American partner, and one of the greatest ballerinas of all time.  Miss Kirkland joined the New York City Ballet at 15, was soloist and 17, and at the age of 19 was promoted to Principal Dancer, the youngest to ever hold this title.  Her career met many bumps, anorexia, bulemia, drug addictions, and bad relationships.  But through it all Miss Kirkland was a shining star, and when she finally had to step away from the world of ballet, she made an amazing come back after a 2 year absency in The Sleeping Beauty and Romeo and Juliet.
