Jennifer Souza gave a very detailed set of answers to this questionairre. She was one of the few who told their whole story and how they felt AF1 had treated them. Here is Jennifer’s story…

What were you told on the phone on the Saturday, April 21 when tickets went on sale?:

My tickets didn’t go on sale this particlar weekend. Because of the fiasco, I had to wait for a phone call to receive the mystery phone numbers.

How did you find out ticket sales would be postponed until the following Monday, April 23?:

By e-mail on the 24th. I wasn’t too concerned at this time as my tickets were yet to go on sale. I felt for everyone though.

Were you alerted through e-mail about the ticket sales?

Initially

When did you finally get your ticket order placed?:

The tickets for my show went on sale through a presale on sfx.com on April 25th. I checked it out and I could have bouth 28th row dead center. I didn’t as I was promised prime seats and I figured since I got 3rd row during the 9 Lives tour, I would get somewhere around there this tour. I finally got an e-mail from FansRule telling us the phone numbers (again as I also got a call) and this time mentioned that they know these tickets already went onsale through sfx and vh1, so if we didn’t want to take a chance to go ahead and purchase tickets now. So I quickly went back to sfx.com and the best seats I could get this time was second row from the lawn. Not a good seat. So I have been putting faith into FansRule that a) I would get through b) there would be tickets and c) they will be good seats.

Also, in this email, it is WRITTEN that if I wished to purchase a set of tickets to more than one concert, at this time, I was able to as I hear that the first time, only one set was allowed. If you want, I can hunt down this exact email for you.

Anyway, to answer the question, I got my order placed April 27th. I had to re-dial from 5 am to 8:30 am straight before I got through. Ok, I took 15 minutes to shower and get ready for work, and 20 minutes to get to work. I’m a teacher so I had to entertain the kids while dialing feverishly as I could only do this for a little while.

What seats were you given?:

I still have NO IDEA!! Tickets purchased 4/27 – put on my credit card. 5/12 – I believe, paid for them already. It is 7/10 and I am still waiting. What the bleep was my extra $19.95 for???

Were there seats available through AF1 at your chosen venue?:

Yes they were available for both venues near me. But was told by the lovely person on the phone that I was allowed only two tickets. Hey, I could have bought one for Concord and one for Mt. View. Like I wanted to go by myself twice. Really now, how stupid is this? Doesn’t anyone over there know what is going on???

When did you receive the confirmation for your tickets?:

I received TWO confirmation postcards June 10th.

Which show did (or will) you attend?:

I think, at least, I asked for, and it is on the postcard, Shoreline, Mt.View, August 8, although it was quoted and still says August 14, which is Concord.

Have you received your tickets in time for the show?:

I hope I do!! My goodness, what is taking so long???????

Did you receive a promise of tickets then not received your tickets and were not billed for them?:

No.

Did you get billed for your tickets and not receive them?:

So far, yes.

Did AF1 at anytime make any statements to you that you later found out to be false or contradictory to any other previous statement?:

Uh, yeah – see above. The number of tickets allowed. Where the seats are going to be.

Any wrong-doings you would like to speciffically point out:

I was told by a lawyer that anytime a credit card purchase it made, and the order is billed to the account, the company has 30 days to produce the goods or the charges are to be reversed and/or the goods produced IMMEDIATELY. It has been 60 days and I have yet to receive tickets, or even an e-mail explaining the reason for the loooooong wait. And yes, I have, in good faith, sent out two e-mails asking what is up with this. I also asked how does one renew membership. Interesting how I got an answer to the later, but not to the whereabouts of my tickets.

Anything else you would like to add (a personal story, a comment, or anything you would like said in the article):

The last time Aerosmith was to play the Shoreline Amphitheater (their second visit during the Nine Lives tour), Steven got ill and the show was postponed and then ultimately cancelled. I was to take my boss’ wife who had never seen these guys live before even through she has been a fan for years. It was Mother’s Day and we drove hous to get the news that there was no show. She was so disappointed that the trip home was in an uncomfortable silence. I also didn’t have the heart to tell her that the first time they visited Shoreline that tour I was in the 3rd row (she couldn’t make that date that time).

So, now now I have once again purchased two tickets to this venue – one for me, one for my bosses wife. She cannot wait and it is giving her an ulcer to find out I have no idea if/when I will have the tickets in my hot little hand. It also breaks my heart that these tickets may be nest to the lawn. How awful to have to pay premium prices (more than what I could have gotten through ticketmaster) to find out I could have spent $70.00 on lawn tickets and not be any further back than AF1 tickets. Not to mention that no one really has gotten seats that were promised so far this tour. I’m no looking forward to opening the envelope once that UPS or FedEx driver pulls up to my home. Whenever THAT will be.

Ok, so the guys have offered soundchecks to fan club members in the eas coast. That is nice and all, but is that still going on? I haven’t heard anyone else mention this. The Shoreline has a large dancing area (not a mosh pit) that in the pst they have put up three rows of chairs for the travel package people. Is this a possability? Really, all I want from FansRule (besides my tickets) is an explanation as to what is taking so long.

Reason for being with the fan club: preferred seating and, at first, the rewsletters as I didn’t have a computer until recently. Speaking of which, has anyone gotten a newsletter recently?
