This was Patricia’s answer to the FansRule Questionnaire I sent out through the mailing list I am with. I got 7 replies to the questionnaire and got even more personal stories and testamonies. Some of the replies were used in my article. This is Patricia’s side of the story:

FANS RULE QUESTIONARE:
What were you told on the phone on the Saturday, April 21 when tickets went on sale?:
Couldn't get through on Saturday. Kept getting a message stating that call couldn't be completed. How did you find out ticket sales would be postponed until the following Monday, April 23?:
I actually did get through and ordered tickets on Sunday April 22. Got a confirmation number for the order too (like that has done much good)Were you alerted through e-mail about the ticket sales?:
Heavens NO. They've never replied to ANY email I've ever sent them. I've never received any message from them about anything. If it wasn't for people posting to the lists, I wouldn't have known about any sales at all. When did you finally get your ticket order placed?:
My order was "placed" Sunday April 22.What seats were you given?:
NONEWere there seats available through AF1 at your chosen venue?:
Supposedly for Cincinatti (the tickets I was supposed to have ordered). But none for Cleveland, Columbus, Burgettstown. Were you able to purchase tickets according to seniority status?:
??When did you recieve the confirmation for your tickets?
Was given a confirmation number on the phone when I ordered. Like that was worth anything.Which show did (or will) you attend?:
Will be going to Columbus July 11 since I got tickets through Ticketmaster. I ordered tickets for Cinci in Sept through FR.Have you recieved your tickets in time for the show?:
NODid you recieve a promise of tickets then not recieve your tickets and were not billed for them?:
YES
Did you get billed for your tickets and not recieve them?:
NODid AF1 at anytime make any statements to you that you later found out to be false or contradictory to any other previous statement?
You Betcha. When I ordered tickets by phone on April 22 I was told that this was it for my ticket purchase. I could not order tickets to any other show since there was a two-ticket limit for the TOUR. So of course I actually believed that I would be getting tickets for Cinci, and didn't bother to try to call for tickets to Cleveland or Columbus. Then after the fact I find out that they WERE allowing people to purchase tickets for multiple shows. By the time I did call, all tickets were gone.
Any wrong doings you would like to specifficaly point out:
Everything they have said or promised has turned out to be contradictory and basically a lie. Thought I had tickets through FR for Cinci. BUT never heard anything after the initial date of ordering that I had tickets. So I try calling. No, there is no record of my ticket order. Confirmation number I was given they have no record of. They won't answer any of my emails. At least I haven't been charged for the tickets either, so I have basically given up. At this point, I don't think I even want the tickets for Cinci. I'm afraid if I keep calling they'll go ahead and charge my credit card about 12 times for the one pair of tickets (like they've done to others), and I won't get any tickets anyway. I've given up. Anything else you would like to add (a personal story, a comment, or anything you would like said in the article): I can't help it but it doesannoy me that they seem to be giving preferential treatment to a few members. I have almost 10 years in the fanclub, and for what? Last tour, I went to about 12 shows all with fan club seats, and nothing worse than 5th row (except for the Dayton fiasco, which is a whole different story). This tour? I'm going to one show with lousy Ticketmaster seats. Will I be getting an upgrade to onstage seats? Will I get to go to a soundcheck? NO because I ended up having to get tickets through Ticketmaster even though I have 10 years seniority. So the only one's that have any hope at all are those that were already at least lucky enough to get FR tickets in the first place (which has left a lot of us with many years of seniority excluded).
