Timeline:

Birth to 1930's: Malone grew up to become a detective in his town's police. Ultimately dissatisfied with the corruption in the ranks, he broke from the force and opened his own business, where he took on the cases no one else would handle. In the mid 30's, Malone investigated reports of a crazed voodoo witch doctor; he solved the case, but in the process he was cursed to live forever unless he met a violent end; this curse also had a side effect (see below).

'30's to present: Malone has continued his practice, never aging or changing much, even as the world has changed around him. He has also solved many cases involving the supernatural and metas.

Background:

Malone grew up in Chicago, home to many crime families and gangsters. Not much is known about his past before he was cursed.

Personality:

 Very much the noir detective of the 30's. His methods have adapted to match the times, but he remains very much the hard boiled private dick for hire. He takes no guff, no crap, and no attitude unless he thinks it will help him solve his case. He's patient and a good listener, and he knows a rat when he sees one. However, under it all, he's also depressed; living forever really sucks, and he looks forward to the day where he isn't good enough and buys it, although he refuses to just let it happen. His momma never raised a quitter.

Hobbies / Skills:

Top notch detective, good with his outdated weapon. Excellent tracker (see below).

None. They died years ago and he got sick and tired of outliving them all.

Superhuman Abilities/Mutant Abilities/Extraordinary Abilities:

Malone is essentially immortal; as long as he is not killed by violent means, he will continue to live without aging. He also can cut off his thumbnails and use the shavings to track clients, suspects, or anyone else, psychically, for two days after the nail shaving would come into contact with them.
