When rebuilding a website, they say seventh time's a charm. Not true, your disgruntled Editor will tell you.
So, here we are again. Another year, another website redesign. Returning to TyCorp after such a long absence feels like returning home. A lot has changed, but the heart is still the same. However, remaking the site is not the sunshine and lollipops it once was, and remaking it over the past few months has given rise to many of the more annoying aspects of building a website. Anyone who knows me well should know that I hate writing a site up from scratch. Tediously typing the correct code in place, hoping that everything will look good and work well has never been my idea of a good time. But due to not having an internet connection, or a decent computer, or any website authoring software, I was forced to build the entire thing from scratch. Another annoying thing is going through the entire website and checking for errors. Errors can and often include spelling mistakes, incorrect coding, broken links, wrong pictures, incorrect title heading, false information...the list goes on. One of the worst, and hardest things to do is making old pages compatible with the new layouts. Especially pages with a lot of pictures, like TyCam. Luckly this time around, I didn't have access to any old text, so everything had to be written anew. Oh well. As always, the work, I think, has paid off well, and the site looks great. And, with the inclusion of big breasted, purple haird aliens, TyCorp version 7 will be the best one ever! Always here, always working All
