Season 3 seems to be the most bitched about season. Common complaints include lack of continuity in writing, Ike's death, bad guest stars that die, Jesse, Rosemary (the Spawn of Satan), Noah's death, Lou's wedding dress, in fact, the whole damn last episode. Others complain that it became the Jimmy, Lou and Kid show rather than an ensemble cast like season 1. It's no wonder the show was axed. What were the season 3 writers thinking?

I really wonder what those writers were doing that last season? It's like,
"well, this is our last season, we might as well make it suck!"
"Hey, I have an idea for a real annoying character who gets Noah killed and Jimmy falls for her."
"Hey, not a bad idea, that should really piss our audience off."
"Well, while we're at it, let's just bring in a bunch of characters and kill them off at the end for no reason."
"Where's that waitress, we need some more tequila?"
"But that's your 6th one already."
"I know, but I'm getting an idea for a young Jesse James."
"Sounds stupid, but it just might work."
"And while we're at it, let's kill off Ike"
"Great idea, it's not like we can write emotional scenes anyway."
"Did someone say something about an annoying character?"
"Yeah, I did. We'll call her Rosemary and she will be stupid and looked stoned and Jimmy will fall in love with her."
"What about the Jimmy/Lou idea?"
"Oh screw it, she needs to marry Kid."
"Then what about killing off someone in the middle of their wedding?"
"Perfect, no wonder we are such great writers. With this, we could win an Emmy!"
Just my theory on what went on.
Season 3, in my opinion stunk due to a change in story line and killing characters I liked. I was also one of the Jimmy and Louise fans . I did not like Kid with Lou. He pissed me off with the way he was so protective and smothering. On the other hand Jimmy trusted her abilities and give her room to breathe. That would have been a lot more interesting in my opinion, especially since it would have made Kid jealous as you know what. And frankly Jimmy is and was a hundred times more sexy than Kid.
