lore: this is time of harvest. A time to visit the lakes, fields and orchards.also a time to plant the seeds that will grow through the winter to arise next spring.
After you have Cast your Circle and set your Goddess and God and Watchtowers candles. You may want to adorn your altar with wheats sheaves , berries , acorns, fruit and a loaf of bread ( can be used for Cake and Ale )

Stand before your altar holding the sheaves of wheat and give thanks to the Harvest. Using a suitable blessing or

Now is the time for the Harvest, when the bounties of nature give of themselves,
I partake in the harvest so I may can continue with life as it may so be,
Now is the time for all to enjoy the bounties of the Harvest. May the seeds that are to be planted ensure the rebirth in the warmth of the coming Spring.


Now you can continue with the Cakes and Ale and meditation of the season past and to come. The life of you and yours. Again after all cakes and Ale remember to feed mother Earth.
The circle and all are released.
Remembering to thank those who have witnessed this ritual and remember to Thank them .
* the items used for adorning the alter should be put back to earth and if you had fruit also replant the seeds .*
