Lore: It is a practice to walk in the wilds collecting leaves and seed pods and acorns for adorning your altar or home. Some of the things you gather can be saved and used for future magick workings.

Cast your Circle, inviting your Goddess and God and the Watchtowers to attend.
For the leaves you have gathered place then in a basket and set them beside the altar.

Stand before your altar with basket in hand .
Slowly dropping a few leaves you can say word of blessing and Thanks also
This is a time for banishing misery and hate

“ Fruits ripen, seeds drop, the hours of day and night are balanced,
As the winds blow in from the north ,
Bringing their closing of the final growing season of Earth ,
I know that life will continue to Grow and prosper under the blanket of winter.
For spring is impossible without the second harvest,
As surely as life is impossible without death
Bless us that we will again feel the rebirth within ourself


Put the basket down and standing make the sign of the pentagram ( arms straight out to side and legs spread open).

a blessing something like this:
“ Oh Goddess of fertility of all life, I have sown and reaped the fruits of my actions. Show me the to enjoy joy and love in the coming years. Banish me of my hate and bane, teach me the secrets of wise existence upon Mother Earth.

Now proceed with meditation and Cakes and Ale.
When all is done release the Circle and thank the Goddess and God and Watchtowers for visiting your ritual.
Remember feed Mother Earth also from the Cakes and Ale
